  Very clean

  I had a single room which wasn't to big, but very nice for just me. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. I was there in November, so the pub and restaurant were closed. But they advised me a nice restaurant just a few hundred meters away. Wifi was free and fast enough. It was really quiet in the hotel, because of the season. In short I had a very comfortable stay.

  central and convenient

  We stayed here for one night on our way to the winter market in Jokkmokk. The room was clean with a large bed and nice sofa as well. We had dinner in the hotel pub called Old Duck Inn. Jegerpanne ( the hunter's pan) was very godd and delicately served. We certainly will stay here again

  Pleasant but short stay

  My flight arrived in Arvidsjaur at 2100, and I was quickly driven to the hotel in a shared taxi (the only way to get from the airport to town). I arrived after their reception service hours but the lady behind the desk was still cheerful and welcoming despite having to wait for me. The one thing that stood out for me was that the decor in the hotel seemed a little old fashioned, very 80's with modern hints here and there. Having said this, everything was maintained and cared for to such an incredible standard that it all looked brand new and like it was only just fitted. This was the cleanest hotel I can remember staying in for a very long time (maybe ever?) and I was amazed by how perfect everything was. Even the toilets in the lobby were absolutely immaculate, with mirrors and silverware absolutely gleaming. Very impressive. The room was comfortable and I got the best nights sleep of my trip (7 nights in 5 different places). Sheets were soft and clean and the pillow perfect! Breakfast the next day was good but not much left (but I did arrive 15 minutes before breakfast finished, so I can't hold this against them). The only thing I would liked to have seen with breakfast was some croissants, but these are minor details. The presence of a waffle maker more than made up for it! Very happy with my stay and would certainly recommend.

  Comfy and large rooms

  This was the second time we stayed at Hotell Edström and now they have new rooms. The hotel is centrally located and consists of several buildings and we stayed in the main building. Unfortunately there was no time for us to use the relax facilities but we spent some time at the gym before leaving. The gym is well equipped and the breakfast is good. There is an English Pub in the hotel, very authentic though Swedish. We didn't have the time to visit it because it closes already 10 pm in the weekend.

  Not welcome

  Entering the Hotel or leaving the Hotel most of the staff (I believe it's the boss and his wife) give you the feeling that you are not welcome. They don't say hello or goodbye. One exception is one young girl from the reception. Gym is about 300m away from the Hotel in an other building. After having a shower the bathroom is flooded. Rooms are ok. Breakfast is ok. Overall not a place to recommend.
