  Worked well as an economical place to stay just off the autoroute

  We were driving south as a family and needed a place to crash at 1am for 7hrs or so. This place did exactly what we needed. On arrival it was the usual F1 experience of dimly lit parking in a non-residential area. However on the plus side it was very easy to find (just off the dual carriageway) and there was CCTV in the car park. The latter helped give peace of mind when leaving a car full of stuff outside in the middle of the night. On arrival there was a manned reception with a friendly and efficient lady behind the desk. The room was clean, hot and a little smelly, but that is par for the course. We went for the divide and conquer approach of two twin rooms, which worked well although costs more than a triple. Weve never tried squeezing four into a triple and I hear that they can refuse (on insurance grounds) to let you all stay in one room - be warned, although that is anecdotal. It wasnt noisy at night and the toilets were clean. I hope that you found this review helpful. If you did please give it the thumbs up - thanks.   Unexpectedly unpleasant

  Hotel located near a highway, so very noisy, no matter your room is in front or rear. Carpet smelly and stained, room small and without air conditioning, tiny space for breakfast, common toilets and showers very small. If you forget something in the shower, forget it, it will be stolen Very friendly receptionist though

  HotelF1 Troyes sud Parc

  Stayed at the HotelF1 just outside Troyes. The room was clean but had a smell of smoking. Its a basic hotel with shared shower and toilet facilities. The hotel is becoming a little dated now. The hotel was noisy with other guests until late into the night. The car park is mot secure due to the main gate being damaged. There is a restaurant next door which is a little pricey but of good quality. The breakfast was very basic. Cup of coffee with bread or toast. No plates available and had to eat the bread off the tray. At least the butter was good quality brand. Will not stay in F1 hotel again due to being too basic. However, at just over 30euro a night, dont expect too much.

  Breakfast seems to have done downhill!

  We have regularly used this hotel as a cheap overnight stop on our journey to our from the Alps as it is so convenient for access to the motorway. We have had breakfast at F1 hotels many times and yes, it's cheap so don't expect much but I expected a little more than watered down orange juice!

  Disgusting!

  Unfortunately Ive had to spend a few nights here over the years while travelling racehorses through France. I will not be staying there again, it has been worse every time I have stayed! The website states its taking precautions because of COVID-19, I didnt see any precautions being taken. Communal toilets and showers not being cleaned between use. No had basins in the toilets, the place stinks of stale cigarette smoke, paint peeling, huge potholes in the car park, it doesnt feel safe there being a woman and the building looks like its about to fall down! In a nutshell the place is a health hazard!!
