  It was ok short term

  We stayed one night on route, Reception staff are very helpful and were available available 24/7. The night time car park security was welcome as the exit entry gates were locked in the evenings with easy to use pass code.The room was adequate for our needs though on the downside bedding and toilet/ shower pods were all a little shabby and would benefit by replacement. The breakfast was a pleasant and welcome start to the day.

  toe nail or poo in sink? So much choice at this hotel!

  I understand that this is a budget hotel, but the quality is worse than atrocious, there is no world where I could recommend this hotel to anyone! The beds were coated in a layer of hair and grime, complimented by a delicate smattering of cigarette burns. The hygiene is nonexistent, to go to the toilet you must leave your room and go downstairs to a plastic cubicle smaller than a broom closet and coated in stains with a light that doesn't work. Then to wash your hands you must open a number of doors with dirty hands before reaching a sink in your room. But you will not wish to use this sink, for as soon as the first drops of water leave the tap, a stench of sewage wafts out of the plug. If you have ever wanted to see how Fred flinstone felt then you have come to the right place, the stone on which he sleeps is like a woolen blanket when compared to the beds in hotel F1! This is all without mentioning the holes in the wall where the door handle has slammed against the wall for years. Oh and of course I couldn't go without mentioning the two toe nails which I spotted in the corner of my room. Avoid this place at all costs.

  Tired rooms

  So have fun spotting this place as you travel into Rouen from the south into the town as it is hidden by the car wash place in front of it and the hotelF1 sign is small and very faded, as we drove past it twice trying to spot it, then we spotted it and drove in through the car wash establishment, as to the rooms that are very old and tired, and need to be updated as per the other F1 I stayed in the night before, ok for a night before traveling back to the uk.

  Regular, regular

  Llegamos al hotel y casi la primera pregunta es si queremos la habitación para fumadores o para no fumadores, rogamos encarecidamente que sea de no fumadores y la habitación no huele a tabaco, huele a sucia pero las zonas comunes huelen bastante a tabaco. La limpieza de las habitaciones no es demasiado exhaustiva y la de las duchas y wc deja un poco que desear. La zona de picnic es casi imposible utilizar ya que permanentemente hay gente sentada fumando. Como dato bueno la recepcionista es bastante amable, aunque no hable más que francés y fue un poco complicado entendernos. No es para recomendar, la verdad es que es el tercer hotel de esta cadena que visitamos y no sé que les ha pasado pero siendo low cost daba gusto venir y ahora dejan mucho que desear.

  Dirty, tired and extremely uncomfortable.

  I know these are the lowest of the low, the most budget of the budget hotels but there's no excuse for how terrible this one is. Filthy bed spreads and hairs in the bed, the mattress on the main bed had worn out so much it was like trying to sleep on a knotty plank. I've stayed in a few F1 hotels over the years and they've always been what they should be, cheap and cheerful. This tired old place would be better avoided, spend the extra tenner and go to the Hotel B&B over the road.
