  Clean;secure car park.Quiet.The motel was situated just where I needed one travelling from Cherbourg to Spain.For the money,represents good value.Reasonable restaurant and a Macdonalds nearby within easy walking distance.

  Very cheap hotel on the outskirts of Nantes

  I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in November 2014. Online, I found a deal for 19 euros per night for a 3 person bedroom (we were 2 people). The room was very small but functional. It had a bunk bed with a single bed on top and a double bed at the bottom. There was a rod under the bed where clothes could be hung. There was a small corner desk and a suspended tv from the wall. There was only 1 channel available (Canal) but as we were out of the hotel for the most part this was not of concern. Wifi was free and accessible in the room without problems. In addition there was a sink and mirror in the room. The toilets and showers were located on the same floor and there was 3 of each. They were all clean and we had no problems waiting to get one as there were not many guests at the hotel. The service was normal, nothing exceptional but not bad. Parking was free and you were given a code to use if you entered late at night. This hotel is far away if you plan on using the bus. If you have a car it is about 15-20 minutes away by car but for the price we found this more than doable. Perfect situation if you are going to Nantes to see a FC Nantes soccer game.

  Cheap, cheerful and surprisingly good.

  I've seen f! hotels all over France for many years but this was my first time using one. 37 for a room for two on the outskirts of a large city seemed pretty good value so I decided to have a go. The receptionist was very friendly and efficient and simply handed me a receipt upon which was printed the 6 digit number I'd need to access the room and the car park. It al worked like clockwork. The room was small but perfectly clean and was furnished with a small TV and a washbasin. Toilets and showers were at the end of each corridor and were, as far as I could see, well maintained and very clean. On this experience, would I use f1 again? Certainly.
