  Overnight stop

  The ventilation is not the best, so in the rooms is unbearable hot. It is very close to highway, so very very convenient for short rest.Very cheap accomodation, so we did not have any special expectations.

  Won't use again.

  Have used Formule 1 hotels many times on trips through France & they have always been ok,this time i must have struck unlucky. Had a room on the ground floor & on opening the door the room STANK of stale cigarettes,opening the window had no effect at all,the smell was ingrained into everything. The duvet cover although clean had cigarette burns in it & on getting into bed i found someone had left a pair of reading glasses underneath the duvet cover,I'm still trying to figure that one out myself. The work surface underneath the TV was dirty & looked as if it hadn't been cleaned since the last guest had vacated the room & the tap ran at a trickle making just having a wash a major event. Before when coming through Chambery i have used the Formule 1 at Chignin & have never had any problems there,so in future will stay there again when passing through & give F1 La Motte Servolex a miss.

  Turn around and run

  This was pre booked and paid for from home and in the photos looked ok. We arrived and the smell of the hotel was disgusting. Sticky carpets, dirty toilets with no sink to wash hands. Rooms were clean with threadbare bedding and carpet. We spent 10 minutes in the room after which we left and found a different hotel.

  You get what you pay for

  +cheap +close to highway +offers breakfast +ok rooms + 24 h reception + free parking - not the best english from staff and signs - cold/hot room (set temprature yourself) -unsanitary wc (no soap or sink, always wet stool) -You hear everything your neighbours do. People walking in the corridor and so on. /shared bathrooms

  Good location

  Easy to find just off the auto-route, usual hotelF1 set-up, quick and easy check-in, everything you need in the room for a single night stay. You get exactly what you pay for. Lots of parking but does tend to fill up later in the evening.
