  Functional, close to the train station, great breakfast

  Functional rooms, but certainly lacking any charm. Breakfast is good and a great selection. Rooms are quiet. There is a vending machine for drinks. Restaurants are 5 to 10 minutes walk away. Wi-Fi is iffy and is a pain to set up or operate

  Positivity all over

  Stayed there with my parents while visiting my brother who lives in Biberach. We took a single and double room. Now don't expect the Ritz. But if you have that in mind you will really enjoy this warm, family owned, practical and super clean hotel. They are a 10 minute walk from the downtown area. The breakfast buffet is simple yet awesome. Rooms are clean, functional and super quiet as well. I would highly recommend the Zur Riss if you're visiting Biberach

  A pleasant stay

  A quiet hotel with good sized double room, pleasant staff, good wifi. An easy walk from lots of restaurants in town. Good parking and a safe garage for an old car. The staff were charming and breakfast was excellent.

  Nice familylike hotel

  Nice place visit after another. Not so close to the center of the city, but easy to come with a car and only 10-15 minutes walk to main square (nearby are restaurants closer). Rooms are nicely updated, although the locking system still dates back to mid 19th century. Breakfest is good, not huge but fresh and tasty, very good especially in Germany. WiFi is a basic German style, so does exist but is not working most of the time. So don't count on it to keep you entertained or even for the emails. But for that, I don't blame the hotel, I blame the WiFi culture of the entire country.

  This hotel is near an industrial zone in Biberach, but it is 15 minutes walking distance from Biberach city center. There are also nice walks possible along the Riss river, 1 minute walking from the hotel. We arrived with a car and there is plenty of free hotel parking. I noticed bus stations near the hotel, but cannot comment because I haven't used them. The rooms are good size, well equipped, very clean and comfortable, good amenities, EXCELLENT breakfast. Friendly service in this family run place. Highly recommended.
