  Hotel for relax

  The hotel has a good spa and wellness center. The indoor pool was warm and big enough though Saturday it is full of people. There is also a jacuzzi and sauna. The hotel room is big and warm, bathroom is big and has a bath. The view is great. Hotel is in the town center. If you have a dinner included, prepare yourself for a live music (mostly bulgarian folklore)

  Excellent

  We stayed here in the end of June 2018. Great location,facilities,rooms,cleaness,service!Breakfast and dinner were delicious! Spa and wellness center-great! The bad weather wasnt reason to feel unhappy.Spa and wellness center was the perfect place were we spent the whole rainy day.

  The worst discrimination ever!!!!

  Today I had a the worst experience ever in hotel Zdravets Velingrad. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2018. Part of my treatments were couple of chemotherapies which made me lost my hair. My oncologist from NYU Langone Hospital in Manhattan New York recommend me to come back to my home country for some SPA and Massages after my chemo therapies. I came to hotel Zdravets hoping that I can get really nice massages and treatments since I am done with all chemos . Yesturday on April 16 I had a massage at the SPA and I explained to the massage therapies that I am in remission after chemo therapy. I explained couple of times that I am cancer free but I have a history of cancer. Today after me scheduling an massage young lady called Margarita Vasileva came to me and explained that I wont get my scheduled massage because I have a cancer. I explained that I had cancer but since February I am in remission and cancer free. Also is recommended by my own doctor that I should receive as much as possible SPA treatments. Margarita told me that she spoke with doctor who told her this and they are worried about my health. I asked how she spoke with a doctor since they are more than 50 different diagnosis of cancer and she doesnt know mine! I asked her to meet me with this doctor so I can hear the explanation why is not good for me to get a massage since my own oncologist recommend me SPA massages. That was the most humiliating and awful experience in my life! I never felt so discriminated . I was hoping that its a myth that in my home country people can be treated that way but unfortunately event the manager of the hotel Salih Kumviov refused to meet me with their doctor so I can hear his explanation. I am writing in English because I want all international tourists who hope to come to Velingrad and receive nice service and experience will be extremely disappointed and discriminated. I love my country and I and I am ashamed that people like Salih and Margarita made me go and spend money for vacations all over the world but Bulgaria. Just FYI As a Cancer Surviver I never had surgery my cancer was treated only with couple of chemo and a drug that I had to take in January. Hotel Zdravets definable is not 4 stars hotel!

  Excellent

  Lovely apartment, great staff. Nice pools... Inside one really warm. Great food... Really good quality. Right in the middle of velingrad, only about six minutes walk from the station. We'll stay here again if in velingrad.

  Very good

  Very nice hotel, friendly staff, everything is clean. The spa is very good. Definitely must do! Also the prices are faer and it is in the city center right next to the pedestrian street. The pool is really good and hot.
