Great Breakfast and clean spacious roomI stayed for two nights. the hotel is near Lochham S-bahn, just 7-8 minutes walk. I was in first floor with no elevator but it was okay. Breakfast was very good and have plenty of fruits and drinks. No water or tea kettle in the room but when I asked for, they get one to me for two hours. I left my luggages for 6 hours after check out. the surrounding area is quiet and a supermarket in found in front of the S-bahn station. Enjoy walking, Free wifi and TV channels. It was 15 minutes to ZOB and 20 minutes by S-bahn to Munich City Center by S6 Line.

Puts some 4 and 5 stars to shame....I stayed here with my wife and 19 mth old for just a couple of nights whilst visiting friends who live nearby. My expectations weren't particularly high given my experience of European 3 star hotels, but we were so pleased with this hotel we stayed a day longer than planned. A really friendly, helpful, clean and well run hotel who clearly totally understand the benefits of repeat business. It's a 5 minute walk to the S6, then about 20 mins into central Munich. Given a day pass only costs 6 euros and the hotel has free parking, it could be an economic and practical no brainer even for those wanting to visit central Munich or those on their way south to the Alps. Central Munich can be outrageously expensive. There are also a good selection of local family run restaurants with a similarly good ethos. Try Italian GrappaBrenner - great for families, but without compromised quality. Service was excellent, really friendly and helpful. When I asked about storing bags on Sunday after check-out, the guy on duty made a quick call and said keep the room for as long as you want - most hotels refuse requests for a late check out without even considering whether they can accommodate it. Breakfast was also a real surprise. Really good selection of very good quality cold cuts, cheese, smoked Salmon, breads - plus some hot food and usual cereal / fruit. When we checked-in, they said if we needed anything else, just ask - although we didn't need to - the choice and quality was better than many 4 star hotels we've been to. Our double room was fairly spacious, enough room for cot and still for the little one to wander around. Modern and clean bathroom. Well done Wuermtaler - very likely we'll be back soon.

Lovely little hotelI was here in May 2017 on a business trip with my colleague for 2 nights. My room was in the building No. 2. Although it's not the main building I was totally satisfacted with the room. (My colleague said his room and his bathroom in the main building were too small.) The room space and the equipment would worth 5 points but the cleanliness only 4,5. The breakfast was tasty and various. I really enjoyed the athmosphere of the breakfast room. Personnel was absolutely helpful and friendly. They offered us nearby restaurants - we chose the typical Bavarian one where we felt absolutely like locals :)
