Great locationSpent a couple of nights here and enjoyed the view and the swimming pool/sauna. The room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. We loved the big balcony facing the lake in room 133, saw a couple of phantastic sunrises there. Don't understand bad ratings for cleanliness, we found everything spotlessly clean, only the windows and glass front of balcony could have done with cleaning, but that's complaning on a high level. Some of the interior was a bit tired, so for us it was not four stars class, more like three stars. The mostly very young staff were exceptionally friendly and very well trained. We had a couple of complaints (no parking space in the evening, although we were told there's always ample parking and limited choice at dinner, not conform to menu we saw at breakfast) but both times the problems were dealt with immediately and satisfactorily. That's how it should be and the staff clearly know how to deal with problems to make the guests happy. WiFi was fast and free. Dinner was nice, if a little overpriced. Breakfast choice plenty and very nice. Especially the breakfast rolls were very tasty. There was even a cooked choice of scrambled eggs, sausages and streaky bacon, very much appreciated, kept us going way past lunchtime. The pool and sauna were pretty empty in the morning and afternoon, it's nice to enjoy some privacy, extra towels for spa were already in the room upon arrival. Access for mobility impaired guests is not easy, there are a ten steps down to the entrance of the house, from there you can take the lift, food is served in a different house, so you have to cross the car park, which is quite uneven to walk on, especially with high heels. But other ratings saying there are steps to get to breakfast are wrong, there are steps to the back entrance, if you go round the house to the front, there are no stairs. We talked to reception about the problem with disabled access, and they informed us this will be changed still this year. Value for money: this is a tricky one. If you're not keen of the spa and a hearty breakfast, it's overpriced (we paid 280 for two nights). But if you consider the great breakfast choice and free spa, the price is good value for money. So we will surely be back!

Quiet Hotel wih spacious roomsStayed at this hotel for one night. The rooms are very spacious and have a small kitchen built in. Bathrooms are also very spacious. The room was clean and very quit at night. Nice breakfast, free parking and free wifi. I stayed here for business but i would also return for leisure.

Lovely staff, great location rooms undergoing re-furbishments great conceptWe Stayed in the Seehotel for three nights, had views of the lake which are well advised, as lovely to sit on the balcony and take in the views. The hotel are currently (July 2017) undergoing refurbishments of the rooms, and are not 100% finished so we were surprised when we first arrived and there was no hangers in the wardrobe, a kitchen but no utensils, or stools at the bar counter. We did explain our surprise and discontent regarding the situation of the room and management did give us a discount which was acceptable to us. The new room designs are quite brilliant. There is a raised day bed by the window and as I was doing some work following a business trip, I got hours of use out of this space. Bed linen lovely, and the bed very comfortable. The staff in the restaurant truly make up for any shortcomings. They are all young, many students working for the summer, but were all fabulous and super friendly. Finally if in need of a massage, highly recommend the spa centre, it was great!!!! Overall a great experience and we will be back. I am including some photos of mine to give people an idea of the design which is quite different and much improved from the dated original as shown in the official photographs on their website or on booking.com

DisappointedWe were really excited about spending a night at this hotel. We were also prepared to pay the steep rate for the one night, as my husband and I are both huge fans of Scandinavian design. However, upon entering the room, we noticed that there was no air conditioning and with only one balcony door, it made the air in the room heavy and stuffy. The beds were also hard. The bathroom is not practically designed. The hand basin is too small for the water current flowing from the tap, which means that water is bound to splash all over the floor. The shower is also very small. Definitely not worth the price. Breakfast was ok. Pool was lovely.

Mixed experienceGot a beautiful room with THE best lakeview. Must be the smallest shower we have ever seen in a hotel. But worst part.. we booked with a three course dinner. That what so bad! Kitchen does not cook only heat precooked things is what we thought. We ended up leaving 75% on the plate. We do expect some decent food on a spahotel. We paid 30euros pp and it was like eating microwawefood from a discount supermarket. What a shame!
