    Buen hotel;bien ubicado

    Buen hotel para poder explotar la isla de jeju. Habitación grande y completa. En caso de ir en coche, el hotel dispone de parking gratuito. A 5 minutos andando de la zona comercial y alguna gran superficie como e-mart. Si se puede; solicitar habitación con vistas al puerto o al mar, ya que las que dan a la ciudad tienen justo debajo un parque de atracciones que hace muchísimo ruido.

    Nice Location but need Better Upkeep & Water Pressure

    Pros: Good location - near Dongmun Market, Heukdwaeji Geori (Jeju Black Pork Street) and other old downtown (Jungangno) attractions. Near port for ferry to Chuja Do. Nice rooms and views. Cons: Room need better upkeep and cleaning (never seen a hotel hall carpet with so many stains) and shower has very very low water pressure.

    Not good, not bad

    Pros: 1. Near Shopping district like Dongmun market and Jungang Underground Shopping Center (Nearly all shops tax free) 2. Next to ocean 3. Staff is friendly and speaks good English 4. Pool (Not available in winter) Cons: 1. The hotel is showing its age, needs renovation 2. When you leave the room and take the card with you, the refrigerator does not work 3. No amenities P.S. I am a hotelier myself

    This place is not 4.5 stars nice...

    First, as the title says, it is not a 4.5-star place at all and far from excellent. I am not going to completely complain on this review but will give my honest opinion as well as highlight some differences from prior reviews. Pros: -Pretty good location near the harbor and ocean. -The rooms have been updated (not renovated as previously noted). -Close to some Jeju attractions and Magpie! -Really nice balcony -Bathrooms are the highlight as you can tell they have had the most updating. Cons: -Rooms seemed to have been haphazardly updated. -Carpets are shockingly stained and I can imagine not very clean. This was in my room and in the hallway... -Harborside is very noisy basically at all times of the day/night. -The room was not very clean which is unfortunate. Like I am talking about crusty stuff on the counters and bedside table. Curtains had stains on them. -Furniture needs some TLC... It was beaten up and showing damage. A lot of damage. -The room was weirdly hot or cold as the Aircon/Heater did not seem to properly work. -Shower water pressure was a trickle although it was hot every time I hopped in! I am overall happy with what I paid (March was ~$60 due to CoronaVirus) but I would definitely not pay a penny more than $60. If I was going to stay in the area again, I would choose something further up the street as there are several hotels that look much newer and renevated.

    Enjoyed my stay

    The off-season rates, good reviews, and a seaside location made Whistle Lark Hotel a good choice as my base for a few days in Jeju. With the substantial gap between the ocean view and city view rooms, I settled in between with a harbour view room. I probably got the room farthest from the ocean so the view was still mostly city but it was still not a bad view. March weather was still a bit cold and windy to spend too much time out on the balcony which wouldve been fantastic in the warmer months. The room was comfortable, spacious, and spotless. The fitness center only had two treadmills and a broken down weight machine but with a nice walking path on the ocean, there really isnt a reason to use the fitness center. The main bus stop is about a kilometer walk but I never had to wait long for a bus to the airport or the bus terminal. There were plenty of dining options within a kilometer and a 24-hour supermarket. As Jeju is not a huge island, most places are within an hour drive by car and within a two-hour bus ride, so it was a decent base for my trip even though I didnt do much in Jeju city.
