    Very nice resort - but need to work on hospitality from their staff

    We stayed recently from Friday to Sunday in Hotel Vivat on half board basis including access to pools (but sauna not included). Hotel, facilities is very nice - clean, nice decorated and very warm. I was really positively surprised on this aspect. I decided to write review for one main disappointment - staff that works in bar, reception, wellness but mainly in restaurant is extremely rude and visibly angry or disappointed that they work there. case no. 0 - zero because started on arrival on Friday at 7pm. We asked if receptionist can explain us where is pool, spa, wellness and how we enter it, what are the working hours as we are first time in hotel...the answer was "you just come, why i would explain you all of this as you will find it our in next 2 days". i was like shocked that somebody gives you this answer on a kind request to tell us more. case no.1 - I have asked each meal "can i get spoon please" and each time i got answer "they are over there". as i said that they are not they replied almost in offensive way "than obviously they are missing or were taken from other guests"; but tone and how was said was in the way that we both had feeling of guilt that we even ask for it. We even met 2 other guest at dinner who had the same inccident and were also shocked (btw. restaurant was empty each time as we cam there last 30 minutes. up to 5 table in all restaurants occupied). case no.2 - I came to grab a coffee 2 go at bar - i approached bar and bartender saw me there..she just keep talking with hotel receptions about "how he didnt know that some hotel is looking for receptions..." and i was like waiting there couple of minutes before she said "what can i offer to you". And i was not even the only one as two other guests were obviously waiting at table for a while too. case no3. We pay extra to access to sauna. all fine and really nice over there. in the evening we went to pool and on the way out at door we got sign "no access". obviously our wristband with code were blocked or somehow. We were waiting there for a while that somebody will come to see what is going on..i even went back to pool to look anyone working there - of course no one. We jumped over the door and went to pool/wellness reception few meters away. I told them what just happend to us and first thing in a rude way was said to us "why did you jump over the door". Why? because nobody were there to open it for us. They told us than this is happening to a lot of guest if they purchase access to sauna on top what you have included in main package. but again (if problem is known this can not happen to guest that average age is like 60) main problem is how they told us that why we were jumping over the door. not apologizing to us that this happen. case no4 (positive) - receptions ms. Repoa. I am wondering how is the only one really positive, smiling and helpful among all of them. thanks Ms. Repoa for being nice to us when we came to you with problem "we dont have access"; and also how nicely you explained to us that we can stay all day long in pool on the day when leave etc. message to management: find what motivates her and why she is the only one among all staff we met extremely positive. message to restaurant - either put cutlery on every table or put it in some box; dont throw it just on one napkin next to fruit so that people need to figure it out; food is ok and local cousins are delicious - but sure for food selection how it is done; as i saw pizza slices for breakfast (but not for dinner) and chicken in some sauce with rice for breakfast but was afraid that was leftover from dinner.Sald bar was each day different as i was expecting the same with small changes every day.

    good price performance ratio

    Spacious rooms, secured parking lot, huge breakfast, a lot of place in the pools early in the morning or in the evening. the only thing I miss is a drying rack in the balcony. Most people come here to swim or spa!

    Lovely weekend escape

    We stayed in this hotel for two days. Check in was very quick, according by Covid-19 standards. After check in we went to our room.The room was cozy, very clean, big enough, great AC, totally renewed. Only minus is that room was without balcony. As a hotel guest, you can use all the hotel indoor and outdoor pools, with termal water, or you can swim in to the outdoor olympic pool. They also give you a pool towells and bathrobe. Food: very good, tasty, a lot of diferrent kind, for each taste. I recomend this hotel for everyone, who want to spent a nice vacations in a company of good, polite and friendly people.

    Good, but not excellent

    + Good rooms, bathroom, cleanliness, good food (but no vegan options), nice, clean swimming pools, kind staff. - some negligence in outside swimming pool area deserted bar, strange order in parking lot, bad knowledge of foreign languages /«andere müll« (no possibility of waste separation), »informations« ). Bad organised work in self service restaurant at the swimming pool. At hotel rooms guest have to dry towels nad swimming suits at the windows, there is no towel hangers, but it's enough place for that. Some guests »reserve« best places (occupy sun loungers by putting towels on), what is not allowed, but staff don't do anything about it, what is not fair to other guests. Hotel don't answer on e-mails(last year I've sent them some suggestions). Corona measures (nothing on website about it) no »black thermal water« (high risk of virus transfer in natural water) and no water gymnastics, what is not logical, and other spa kept it.

    Just ok

    The pools are good, as is the food. The hotel is great for a mini break from everyday life but does not deserve 4 * superior. The room was supposed to be the best in the whole hotel but in reality it was very very poor despite the high surcharge - duplex royal room. Take a look at the pictures.
