  Calm stand alone place

  I put 4 only for very good people and service here. In other case it will be 2 or 3. There is not bad place to stay for 2-3 night but not more. It's very calm place and there nice people work here. But interior is very old and have to be renovated. Territory is clean but few meters from this place there were a lot of garbage (few tourists from Sweden were going on the beach and picking up the garbage). I tried to order some food in the restaurant (Tom Yum with a cabbage?), but the food was not tasty and it was very hot in restaurant). My window was in front of bath and almost every day local guys were swimming here and it was very noizy. Finally i decided to move to another hotel to Negombo despite the fact that it was paid for room. But there is a big plus - that it's calm here and nice people.

  Your personal ocean

  The beautiful wild beach, nobody around, just ocean,palms and sun.It"s paradise. Friendly staff will do everything possible that your holiday will unforgettable. Many thanks to general manager Padma for hospitality.

  Avoid

  Avoid this place. It may be cheap but the room we were in had ripped and stained sheets. The room and most of the building itself were not maintained well. We had cobwebs in the corners of the room and cockroaches. The blinds in our bathroom were completely mangled and shower was absolutely filthy. It was very clear they had not cleaned or maintained this particular room for quite some time, very neglected but yet we were put in it. On our second night we had no hot or even warm water - it was ice cold. Towels were provided but also stained. And getting them took a while. Food provided was actually quite good and very plentiful but I would not want to sleep/stay here even with the good food. It's on the beach but in this area you can't swim or go into the water anyway - it's not recommended/safe.

  Filthy, negligence, fungus - avoid this place

  Terrible experience. The place is huge, dirty, not maintained, fungus everywhere, disgusting bathroom, windows sticky of dirt, sheets stained, ancient AC extremely noisy, wifi 1/10, bed was the WORST - screeching and stabbing springs inside the materace will not let you sleep! Bugs and cobwebs, no mosquitier, filthy filthy filthy. Fruits either overripe or raw. Half of it unedible. Price as in 4star hotel - probably for very spacious rooms and the views from the balconies which are really fantastic: beautiful flowery garden, big pool and of course beach and the ocean. You cannot enjoy them though because glass in windows is blury of dirt. This hotel is undoubtedly the biggest disappointment of all in my 2-weeks travel in Sri Lanka. Avoid this disgust.

  Once a nice place but now in need of makeover

  This place is situated on a quiet beach and it has nice facilities. However, everything seems to be pretty run down, old and out-dated. I stayed in the deluxe family suite and while the room was spacious I feel as though it needed a deep clean and makeover. The furniture was very old and the bathroom was shower was clogged.
