  Lo importante es el interior

  con el tutulo quiero decir, que desde fuera del hostel estaba todo muy bien. tenia piscina hacia calor... Seguridad: Nula, se podia acceder desde la calle hasta tu habitacion sin ningun tipo de seguridad, ni llaves ni control de vigilancia NADA Habitacion: habitacion con 16 camas, todas juntas. comodas pero mejorables. Banho: el banho estaba en medio entre dos habitaciones, una la de 16 y otra creo que con 8, en total compartias inhodoro y ducha con aproximadamente 24 personas, no hay que decir el olor suciedad... hacia calor, por lo que la piscina apetecia. el wifi todavia estoy buscandolo. En dubrovnik hay muchas cuestas, pero si a eso le sumas la noche y la lejania al centro, se convierte en una tortura acceder al hostel, todo ello si tienes la suerte de encontrarlo.

  Good location but not what it says it was!

  Visited here in July with my husband and two teenagers. Arrived to apartment at top of hill taxi dropped us off thankfully at the top so had only a few meters of steps to go do.. Needed to phone to get details of how to get into our apartment. Had sent message via what's app but had not seen that. Located keys and were given a one bed apartment with two beds in living area (had booked 2 bedroom) and one air conditioning unit in apartment.. Next day changed to floor below two two bedroom apartment but again only one air conditioning unit not sufficient to cool apartment we given a noisy fan but could not use as could not sleep with noise and made no difference to air temperature. The kitchen was small with hob fridge microwave,kettle and coffe maker. One window up high that you could not see out, table and 4 chairs. No living area to with five station in main bedroom. Main bedroom had no main light when we asked were told could not be repaired until we left. We're supplied with two bed side lamps but only one socket at head of bed! Our biggest problem was ANTS they were everywhere in the apartment when we complained were told it was a problem!!! We were given a spray and a small ant box/trap was place in kitchen made no difference. Could only store food in fridge as they were in biscuits in the top press one morning, disguising. Wifi hardly ever worked again we complained as we had specifically requested wifi and air conditioning again no result if you stood in the hallway you may get if get it few minutes. bathroom had bath and hand held shower, curtain rail very flimsy kept falling down. Door handles fell off 3 doors again when reported this were told this happens, my husband actually fixed two of them only needed screw to tighten so these could have been fixed prior to our stay. Good points. The two ladies who cleaned did a great job everyday and were very pleasant but could not delete the ants for us. The pool was lovely and lovely view very quiet most of the time on our own out there. Location is good near supermarkets and restaurants old city a nice walk over and take a bus back to bottom of steps. Lots of steps around this area not suited for any family wit small children or buggies. These problems need to be rectified before I could recommend this apartment to anyone.

  Villa Valjalo

  Just returned from a lovely week in Lapad, Dubrovnik at Villa Valjalo. Apartments are basic, but with all you need. Our rooms were very clean and regularly cleaned, with sheets and duvet cover changed too. The view from both balconies was stunning with a lovely view over Port Gruz and the harbour. Lovely to sit and watch the cruise ships and boats going by. Obviously, to get a view like this you're high up, so it was either a walk uphill or up the many steps from the marina. Good for your heart! The villa has a small pool to cool yourself down. Great restaurants at the matrina or in Lapad itself, 5-10mins away. Hope to return someday!

  Good Location but average at best

  We stayed at Villa Valjalo in July for a few nights during our week-long tour of Croatia. We were a group of 4 friends and had originally booked the 2-bed apartment. Unfortunately, there was a problem and this had been double booked and we ended up with 2 separate rooms which meant I had to share a double bed with my friend. The other pair was a couple so for them it was fine. The rooms are basic but have a kitchenette which we used to make breakfast. The property has a small pool which we utilized and it was a great respite in the heat. The location was the best part of this accommodation as it is close enough to walk to the beach, bars, and restaurants and overlooks the harbor.

  Great Views Great Place

  On arrival met by young lad who showed me to my studio flat. It had everything you needed for you stay, fridge microwave hop etc, there were two beds so would have been for two people and would have adequate room. The balcony had great vies of the mountains and harbour, no complaints at all. many thanks would happily stay again.
