A lovely hotel, especially for the price. This is a very friendly hotel, where the cleaning is scrupulous and the staff are anxious to assist (some knowledge of Italian is useful). The breakfast is very generous, on arrival I had free water in my fridge, a small but nice room, an excellent air-conditioner and a small but hot and strong shower. My one criticism is that (in common with most newer hotels) there is quite a lot of noise, so I recommend ear plugs to minimize the impact of guests, who cannot shut doors quietly. I really enjoyed my stay and at the price it surely cannot be beaten.

Amazing HospitalityThe best place to stay in Italy. Amazing hospitality with warm people. Very polite and kind staff willing to help you with everything one may need. In addition to that, very clean and tidy rooms and nice environment. Value for money! I would definitely suggest it to everyone of you!

Lovely friendy HotelPretty hotel. Very helpful staff; although the staff spoke very little English we all got by. We arrived at 8 pm and the staff drove us to the port so we didn't have to find our way on our 1st night!! Anything we needed we just had to ask. nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was lovely. The room was really clean (although shower door was a tad dodgy ). Close to the beach (5 mins walk) and 2 ways to walk to the port. The coastal path took around 20 mins and was really lovely & the road/village walk took around 15 mins but not so picturesque

Great place, but hefty walk out of townOk, let's get this clear first. Elba is fab, and Porto Azzurro on is the emerald in the centre of the crown. So anything is excusable. This Hotel is great. Lovely owner and staff who helpoed us out when in a fix (car problem on last day before due to leave - found a room for extra night, lift to garage etc etc). The rooms are light and comfortable. All (I think) with balcony, though some a lot smaller than others. Nice little pool to lounge around/in and wide selection at breakfast buffet - though mainly typical Italian sweet stuff. Master the egg boiler as a challenge. The only down side is a challenging cross country yomp to get in and back from town. Not so bad in, but back could be a problem if you over eat/drink in the many great restaurants. However, it didn't kill us, so must be ok! Would certainly recommend, but not for those with any mobility problems
