  amazing

  this is a gem on the island of ventotene. i stayed here myself for a free weekend while in latina on business for a couple of weeks. the owners were some of the nicest people i met in italy, which is saying a lot. the location is perfect with a beach just at the bottom of the cliff and the square is around the corner with great shops and restaurants. the view from my room was breathtaking and the breakfast was awesome. the wireless isn't great, which is fine for a beach weekend but be prepared to have little connectivity.

  AMAZING PLACE TO STAY!

  Located on the island of Ventotene, a true treasure of the Pontine Islands in Italy, Hotel Villa Iulia is simply amazing. Clean, spacious rooms, some with extraordinary sea views. Right off the main town square close to most all local activities and a very short walk to the beach. Excellent customer service with a simple, lovely breakfast included. It is one of my favorite places and I could not recommend it more highly!

  Second visit better than the first

  This is an amazing hotel run by the nicest people. I was here a few years ago on a break during a business trip and decided to go back with my family. It was even better than I remembered. You cannot beat the view from the rooms, which are clean and quiet. Don't skip the breakfast! They even made dinner reservations for us and we were treated like royalty at both of the restaurants. I highly recommend Ventotene and Villa Iulia will make your stay even better.

  Unbelievable Place

  This was really the highlight of our trip, the view from the hotel is breathtaking. The room was large, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Every morning a delicious breakfast was served on the outside patio with that view...normally Im not a huge breakfast person but found myself looking forward to it every day. The service was better then most 5 star hotels, the people super friendly and nice. We cant wait to come back!

  Anniversary extended weekend

  We wanted a relaxing get-away three-day weekend for our 31st anniversary and we got it in Ventotene. Hotel Villa Iulia was recommended by a friend it is was just what we wanted. We loved this family-run hotel! The hospitality began with the friendly greeting we received via email and advice on restaurants things to do. We were greeted at the dock and a car took our luggage. It is a bit of walk uphill to the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The view was amazing!!! We left our door open (closed the shutters) and drifted to sleep to the sound of the ocean surf. The continental breakfast was plentiful with fresh pastries, fruit, yogurt, juice and cappuccino. Our only regret was that we didnt stay longer.
