Excellent stayWe stayed here as part of a coach party and had a wonderful time! The staff could not do enough to help you and we, as vegetarians, ate beautiful freshly and specially prepared meals each evening. Breakfast was a typical Italian buffet and catered well for all tastes. The room was large and had a fantastic shower. The beds were comfortable and extra pillows promptly provided when asked for. Thank you to everyone at Villa Flora for a lovely stay!

Lovely hotelThis hotel is set in the most beautiful location. The family that run the hotel, can't do enough for you. Downside the beds and pillows are hard (so take your own pillow) ! The food is nice, if a little bland. The swimming pool is lovely and clean, as is the hotel.

Hard Bed and bathroom battleStopped here on a tour package in a town we had been to before. A lovely town with fantastic views. On arrival I reported the broken bed springswhich was rectified by placing a board under the mattress and my back has just recovered. The bathroom had an over bath shower but no shower curtain! The space between the bath and the toilet was about 10 inches and you had to side step up to the toilet with knees scraping the bath side. Food was mainly just acceptable but generally poor and either dry or highly salted. Staff were the real highlight. They worked very hard on what seemed like an austerity budget.

Very pleasant hotelJust returned from a holiday at the Hotel Villa Flora with Shearings. The hotel was excellent. Very clean and with a good selection of food. The family who run the hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. This was our second holiday at the hotel and was just as good as on our first visit.

More positives than negativesStayed at this hotel, September this year, for five nights. Our room had some negatives- dated en suite fittings and yes, the walls are thin. These small niggles were outweighed by the positives. Meals were varied, with good choices and dietary needs accommodated. The Villa Flora's real asset is it's enthusiastic and hard working, small staff team. The hotel is family run and there were many examples, that guest satisfaction, is their No; 1 priority.
