  Not for business

  Good hotel if you are on holiday and don't care about the room. For business forget it. Internet down, TV crammed in the corner - not much larger than my iPhone (my iPad is bigger but no Internet so...). Not a good alternative if you need a place close to airport - go downtown.

  Avoid at All Costs!!!!

  Arrived at the hotel late at night to discover the hotel was overbooked (a regular thing evidently) and we were sent to a partner hotel 10km away. We chose Villa Fiore because it was near to the airport - the replacement hotel, alkthough nice enough - was a 30 euro ride away and was more expensive. We ended up being neasrly 50 euros out of pocket and the promised refund to my credit card has not materialised!!!!! I am not happy with this hotel at all or Travel Republic who we booked it through.

  Good for an overnight close to the airport

  I arrived late. The hotel was quiet but reception was staffed and I was let in. Checking in was sample and efficient. The room was large and the bed was comfy...just what I needed at the end of a long day's travel. In the morning I had breakfast in the small breakfast room. Everything I needed was there, and service was friendly and efficient. I cant comment beyond this as my stay was so short, but overall I felt quite happy with the hotel and the service I experienced.

  Good for a weekend away.

  Got there and discovered there wouldn't be any receptionist due to some emergency, which meant no breakfast for us. However, they gave us the cost for breakfast off out bill so not an issue at all! The hotel was in a lovely and quiet area, and the inside was very nice. Some very good food places close by which went down well after a full day of traveling which is always a bonus. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Dusseldorf.

  Good stay close to the airport

  Spent one night, nice and clean. A very helpful guy in the reception gave me very good guidance about city transportation and even some change when I did not have all the small coins I needed. Clean, and plenty of space in the room. Service minded reception. Breakfast: buffet with sausage, cheeses, ham and salmon. Cooking on demand if you want scrambled egg. Several kinds of bread. Muesli dispenser. Sweet breakfast available with marmalades and Nutella 5 minutes by taxi to the airport 20 minutes by tram to the city centrum. Tram station is 200 meter away.
