  Friendly well run hotel in great location

  We stayed here for 9 nights as a base for visiting towns around the lake and driving up into the mountains. It is only a short walk to the centre of Gargnano and the ferry and a couple of shops for food/drinks and several good restaurants and cafes. With its charming small harbour and waterfront it is very pretty and relatively quiet compared to to other places on the lake. There is a public park and pebbly beach with a nice restaurant very close to the hotel. We had top floor lake view room with large private area of the roof terrace (room 21) and a stunning panoramic view up and down the lake. The room - though not large - is bright, clean with comfortable with table, chairs, sofa, desk, TV (didn't use) and a compact bathroom with shower. There is a small kitchenette with hob, sink, fridge, plates, cutlery etc. The owner/managers are charming and pleased to help without being intrusive. The hotel is very well run with care and attention to detail. The breakfast is great and we also had their cold meal options 3 nights when we didn't want to go out to a restaurant. The hotel is on a busy road which you have to cross to get to the gorgeous garden where there is a very nice pool. It's only 50m to walk down the road but with a lot of traffic I wouldn't like to do it with young children. For families, the self catering apartments and houses in the garden look like a good option. All in all an excellent hotel in a great location

  The best hotel in Gargnano :)

  Hotel Villa Europa is wonderful hotel on very well location in Gargnano on Lago di Garda. Hosts and staffs are so kindly and friendly, a food is so delicious and they have a very delicious home made marmelade. I recommend that hotel to everyone.

  So friendly

  We chose a lovely room, with a large bathroom and an l-shaped balcony large enough for two chairs and a separate table and chairs, with great views across and down the lake. Everything felt so new and fresh, and the staff were so friendly. we also loved the breakfast -the figs, the tomatoes and jams- especially the home produced products. The pool was easier to access across the road than we expected - but I would not fancy it with very small children - and was large, warm and surrounded by plenty of chairs with pretty gardens all around. We only stayed 3 nights, but Gargnano was a busier place than we expected, and we may well go back. If we do, we would only choose this hotel.

  wonderful hotel right on Lake Garda

  Warm, generous hospitality. We were welcomed with prosecco upon our arrival and the gracious hospitality and service continued throughout our visit. Fabulous breakfasts, snack available all day. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable. We look forward to future visits at this lovely hotel.

  Best Hotel in Lake Garda

  We can't say enough about this wonderful hotel. We had the trip of a lifetime. The staff were so attentive, lovely and friendly - the room was spectacular and the food was awesome. If you're heading to Lake Garda this is the place!!! Thank you to the amazing staff - we were there for a wedding in September - we'll be back soon. Grazie - your friends in New York City.
