  Lovely Place

  Lovely Place, 3 Saunas small Pool whirl pool. Nice big breakfast area , fair walk to the beach . Would go there again, but wouldn't pay holiday season prices. Staff was nice, although some seemed like they really didn't want to be there. But generally very friendly and helpful. My partner showed concern as there was nobody in the sauna / spa area , just in case you faint due to the heat. You had to go all the way up to reception to get a key or information

  East feeling, unfriendly people.

  Looks fine on paper. No food, not even bar snacks or room service after 9pm. No water in the fitness room. Inflexible and unfriendly staff. Would not recommend. Zingst is a pretty beach town, but with Thor Real Estate written in the Neo-nazi Font, this place does not seem open and friendly.

  Overall a good stay. Internet capricious

  Very very good room, spacious, excellent bathroom and storage space. There was a private balcony. Everything very clean. Staff was very very professional, kind and helpful. All requests were granted. Excellent breakfast, aboundance of variety and quantity. Hot and cold food. Quite easy to find by road. 8 euros per day for parking. Only problem was that internet was capricious, I needed to reconnect every 20 minutes ( WIFI signal inconsistent ). That hotel is a resort for people who want a spa in their hotel. I did not use the spa. I found out that hotel not close to the beach. That may not be important, because most people who visit Zingst rent or bring a bike, and ride around on their bike. But, without a bike, you need the car to get closer to the beach. Overall, because of the staff, space, easiness to drive to and excellent room and bathroom, I would stay there again.

  Great location, average hotel

  Reception was very friendly and helpful and the room (junior suite) was very nice. We have a toddler and the room had all we needed. The atmosphere is quite cold as it looks like an old big storage facility rebuilt as hotel. The service in the restaurant was pretty bad. We felt quite invisible. Zingst is beautiful and worth a stay. You'll have to walk a bit from the hotel to the main square but it's a nice walk.

  this is not a 4-star hotel

  The Hotel View Jahreszeiten Zingst is located a little outside the small town of Zingst on the Baltic Coast, not far from the Nationalpark Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft (Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park), which is a very beautiful natural area of marshland, lagoons and unspoilt beaches. We stayed here in early September for a short walking holiday. I ordered a suite and requested beds in separate rooms since I was staying with my sister. When I arrived as requested the beds had duly been set up separately. The two main rooms of the suite were absolutely fine. The hotel has an excellent swimming pool area and hot tub. I didnt check out the sauna. This hotel did not provide the level of comfort I would expect for one apparently with a 4+ star rating for which I was paying a fairly high rate. This was disappointing, because it was a special event. The suite was inconveniently designed, considering this hotel is not so old. The 2 rooms were on an upper level and a very small bathroom area was on the lower level, which meant climbing stairs every time to use the bathroom, which can be an issue if you are a little unsteady on your feet. We already used up the small supply of shampoo on the 2nd day but when I requested more I was informed that it was not hotel policy to replenish it. Really?! That was a first for me and I have stayed in many hotels. Admittedly they then made an exception for me. That aint hospitality. Bottles and glasses we left in the room were not removed by the cleaners but left there for the duration. There is no room service. Neither was there anywhere I could buy room snacks or provisions after we exhausted the mini-bar. There is a bar but no bar snacks were offered. Instead we only had the choice of the restaurant where the only choice was a buffet, which in any case was soon closing (at 21:00). The staff seemed efficient but hardly friendly and helpful. On our arrival I asked a question about the local tax and was simply handed a brochure. Yes, I can read but it would be nice to have a short explanation too. And a smile perhaps? I didn't feel at all welcomed after the long drive. Otherwise the hotel fulfills its role to provide a clean, safe place to sleep, although there are cheaper options closer to the village which might not offer a swimming pool, but cost less with the same amount of comfort and perhaps more genuine hospitality. The hotel is advertised as 4-star. For the above reasons I dont believe it merits more than 2 stars - unless the swimming pool / sauna are an important feature for the guest. Most of these issues are easy to rectify. Until then I am unlikely to choose this hotel next time.
