  Family Ski trip

  Excellent comfortable and friendly Hotel where we were put when their sister Hotel had heating problems over the Xmas/New Year period. Great location, with the Kitzsteinhorn Ski area being only minutes drive away. We stayed on a bed & breakfast basis and also had one evening meal during our stay. The food and service in the restaurant was always top class.

  Excellent place!

  We stayed here for 6 nights, two couples, we have nothing to complain about. The location is absolutely perfect if you ski on the glacier, the bus stop is 5min away and there are three buses who will take you there. The hotel is nice and clean, the rooms were not luxurious but nice and decent, bathrooms are newly refurbished and you can get nice views. Heating and hot water all the time, to much I would say ( :) ). You have a small pool to enjoy, sauna and you can book massages. We had half board included (breakfast, afternoon snack and dinner) and food was superb. A good selection of food and varieties, all types of meat every evening and delicious salads and sweets. The snack consisted always of a soup and some savoury dish, plus cake and tea.The staff was helpful all the time and the overall atmosphere in the hotel was really good.

  Good hotel but inexperienced staff.

  Our stay in this hotel was for a week(From 26.06.17 to 04.07.2017) and we must say that our stay in this hotel was just about satisfactory. The food was sufficient and the rooms were big clean and well maintained.The staff in the dining room was very cordial and efficient. There was this particular incident with one of the reception clerk's that was very unpleasant for which till date I have not recieved an answer from the general manager inspite of complaining as well as asking to speak to the general manager on 2 occassions. On checking in we were asked by the reception clerk for copies of our passports and credit card for which we readily agreed. At check out when we asked the reception to return on passport and credit card copies we were refused our copies as we were given to understand that they would be destroyed only after the staff had checked if there was nothing missing from the rooms. I would like to inform the management of this hotel that guests who come to the hotel do not come to take away anything from the hotel they come on a vacation. On complaining of this incident by mail we were given to understand that the hotel operates as per the rules and regulations prevalent in Austria. Would someone please confirm if these are the laws in Austria? I would therefore certainly not recomend this hotel to my family and friends.

  Fantastic hosts, great Food, and super bedding. We just stayed one night but it was really worth it. We came early but still were able to check-in! Amazing that you still find staff that will really go the extra mile, highly recommended!

  Reception = zéro !

  Jacky (receptionist) was present on arrival at the reception. She said very unfriendly that the check-in was only possible at 2 pm. We were not at all welcome at that moment. We have to ask ourselves to place our suitcase somewhere. We received very little explanation from her about the hotel! The rooms at the hotel were ok. The food was very monotonous. Every evening the same salads and only a limited choice of meat and fish. The desserts had to be taken early in the evening, otherwise the best was gone after an hour. During breakfast only one basket was placed with 20 croissants for the entire restaurant. These were rarely refilled. At the end of the stay we had to check out again with miss 'Jacky'. At 20h00 the bus came to pick us up. Jacky was eating at the restaurant during her working hours ...... We waited half an hour at the reception. She saw that we were standing there, but did nothing. Then we had to pay an invoice for a dinner that we had eaten in ALL INCLUSIVE ... At least we had never taken a packed lunch and never had lunch. Scandalous !
