  my first time in Italy and I felt like I was home.

  The friendly smiling faces of everyone made me happy everyday.The staff were so helpful to anything I needed. My stay was 2 weeks as i was attending classes at the Gelato University, walking distance away. My room was clean and charming with a lovely balcony. The front desk helped me with train tickets, taxis, looking for restaurants near by. A light breakfast was included every morning. If I ever return to that area I will be sure to stay there again to see my friends at Hotel Verdemilia!

  Extremely friendly staff

  Very nice hotel with extremely friendly staff. Perfect location if you follow a ice cream course at the Carpigiani Gelato University. For exploring Bologna, you need a car to go to the old town centre.

  A bad experience in bologna

  I stayed there for 22days totally because carpigiani recomend me But I am still disappointed of their customer service.. First of all I lost my phone battery charger and battery things in their hotel.. March 11th I checked out and I left my luggage and my shopping bag in their lobby room.. Because they said it's safe to leave there...but actually it's not... And i went my school and came back to take my stuffs.. After i realized something missing... and that day they opened door of lobby room and everybody can pass and see my luggage and bag.. I think one of their client saw my bag inside and stole those things.. And after i asked and explained about this situation to hotel but they didn't apologize about it ..just answered nothing remained.. I didn't ask them compensate but at least they have to apologize to me that it happened in this hotel.. Second after i checked my receipt I was schocked ..they mistake my nationality and wrote I'm from china.. I am korean but I'm not chinese ..lol I already gave them my passport and they even copied my passport.. They didn't check very well just saw me and wrote my nationality republica of cina ahahahahahaomg Third when i rest in my room somebody didn't say anything and just opened door.. I was freaked out and i shouted who are you!! And suddenly closed door and said nothing just run away... It was hotel front desk girl who came to check heater system.. At least she should say something and has to say sorry to make you surprise or before just enter my room she has to knock the door.. I think in this hotel before they work they didn't get customer service education.. And even 3star half is too much for this hotel..

  Very pleasant hotel with nice atmosphere and good value

  I chose this hotel as it was close to the place where I was working for the next few days. Outside is cute with lots of parking. Reception area is bright and cheerful and the people very pleasant and professional Waitress does not speak English but there was someone there to translate Food was good and plentiful Room was small - I had a single room and the single bed was tucked around a corner. Bathroom was small. Could only use the WC when the shower doors were open!! Good a nice and pleasant stay.

  I attended a two week course in the nearby Carpigiani University, and this hotel was recommended to me. Its an easy 10 minute walk to Carpigiani itself. The 87 bus has a stop just in front of it. The receptionists are nice and helpful. You can buy bus tickets to go to the city centre at the front desk too. My room was cleaned daily with the towels changed, and I was given two complimentary bottles of water (one still, one sparkling) which were replenished everyday. Breakfast was alright but lacking in variety. It was mostly cakes, breads and pastries and some cereal and after two weeks I was craving a cooked meal! It was a nice stay overall though.
