    Average hotel, unfair manager

    I spent in the hotel one week in March 2017 with group of 14 friends for ski holiday. We looked for not too expensive hotel in Folgarida close to the cable car. Rooms: simple, no chairs, very small shower cabin in some rooms. Food: uniform breakfast, two course dinner with salad bar. Average quality, we had significantly better food last year in another hotel in Folgarida. WiFi: poor, only in ground floor (bar, lobby, dining room). Parking: only 6 places in front of hotel, all other guests must pay 10 Euro/day in parking house. Morning transport to cable car station (about 300 m) arranges hotel staff. So, I might be satisfied with hotel service as I had no high expectation. Disgusting experience: the hotel management does not respect their own cancellation conditions. My wife could not come there and I informed the hotel about it 3 days before the arrival, when the whole price was already paid. According to the cancellation conditions declared by hotel in time of booking ("In case of cancellation the following penalties will be applied: within 30 days from the arrival day no penalty will be charged. From 29 to 8 days from the arrival day 50% of the deposit, within 7 days from the arrival the deposit of 30% will be asked. In case of no show the total amount of the reservation will be asked."), my duty was to pay cancellation fee equal to 30% of one person price, so I expected that hotel returns me 70%. After some discussion and negotiation, I accepted an oral agreement with hotel manager (Emilia?) that they return me only 50% in time of leaving. Finally, at the last day, they rejected this agreement and provided me only some discount from consumed beverages. So, according this experience, the hotel manager (Emilia?) and the girl in hotel reception (Jessica) are dishonest persons. My cost to recognize it was 125 Euro. Conclusion: If fair business and keeping of agreed conditions is important for you, consider to stay in another hotel.

    A terrible smoke and very average food

    We have spent there just a week. Generally the room we got was rather clear, beside the fact the entire building needs a serious renovation. A coat rack was unstable, the bed wasn't comfortable. We have got a pain in the neck while sleeping there. There was a strange smell, maybe a chemical one, in the bathroom. In regards to cleaning, it was done every day. That's an advantage. The worst thing was a terrible smoke coming from the chimney, located near our window. We even could not sleep as the smoke appeared around 2300hrs. We have aired the room. We have opened the window and the door. Nothing helped. In the morning when we had a breakfast time we still sensed that smoke. There was a fireplace near reception and when someone from staff suddenly opened it a cloud of smoke was again visible and we felt it as well. Throughout the entire week we have been exposed to this kind of smoke almost every day. There were two meals included. A breakfast and a dinner, or rather supper late in the evening. Starting at 1930hrs. Cold vegetables, a little bit bland,then two main dishes and desserts. The unpleasant thing was a waiting time. We needed to spend over an hour to get two dished. Only three times we waited long enough to get a dessert. The bottle of water costs you 2,5 euro. Not a small amount. The staff is friendly but some of waiters know very little English. The food is not very tasty and most of the days we have got only black tea, no other flavours. To sum that up I need to mention that my travel partner had experienced a food poisoning after the third day. It all started after the supper was finished. There was something wrong with the dishes they served. Maybe they should have changed their main cook. The fact is my partner got sick to his stomach just after eating the dishes they have served...

    School trip

    Bad food, poorly staffed, cleaners went through our things, was there for a week and the hotel was no where near prepared for 96 kids and teachers. Small rooms, not properly cleaned. Not enough room for bags in the foyer where we were instructed to place them. Wouldn't recommend.

    Hotel with extremly small rooms and bathrooms with no windows. No warm water during the day, awful salad bar, but the worst are noisy groups of Young drunk btits. There is no rwaction from hotel owners. Better avoid this place if you are in Folgarida.

    School Visit

    Well, where do I start, as hard working parents it's very disappointing to hear that our children are very disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel, its dirty and unclean in areas. The food is disappointing and not much choice. Definitely wouldn't give this a 3 star rating! Shocked to think the school have chosen such a poor substitute of home.
