Big disappointment...
Let me start by saying I don't usually write reviews...but this I HAD to. The activities for the kids the waterpark and tubing were very fun which is why I'm giving this hotel 2 stars. After a long trip with the kids ..we arrived at the hotel at 3:45 pm only to be told that our room will be ready around 5 pm. Which as most of you who have kids can imagine...waiting 1 hour with little kids running around in a hotel lobby was exhausting!! To be fair the room was clean and the space was decent. You must know that they offer 0 services in this hotel. Anything you ask for (ex toothbrushes ...toothpaste...etc) you will be told to go walk to a convenience store in the COLD and get some yourself. Which by the way is SO inconvenient with the kids.. The food was HORRENDOUS...we ended up delivering all our food from local restaurants which essentially was all deep fried food. If you want your room cleaned forget it! We left the room all day to come back to a room where my bed was made (yay!) But the sheets unchanged and had my daughter's blood from her finger all over the sheets! Last but not least...we asked for 1 extra hour for a late check out...they said no! After I gave the clerk an earful on how we had to wait until 5pm to get to our room...she accepted to give me that 1 hour. Ridiculous. I wonder who rated this 4 star hotel....it is no where close. Bring your own food, don't forget ANYTHING at home and don't dare ask the reception desk for anything because they are "désolé" for everything and will send you marching to the convenience store! Never booking here again. When we spend money we like to get a minimum of service in return. If all i wanted was a bed I would've booked a motel down the road...no different!!!

Loved it here
This is a great spot but be availed of what is there for you for whatever season you visit during. It is very different from summer to winter. Our daughter was very well entertained for a few days with just the indoor park and food. In fact, I had to pull her away so I could go see some the city. I found the staff helpful and willing to help me find anything I needed. They sell toiletries onsite in their convenience and souvenir shop which sells swim gear in case you need it. There is a deppaneur across the parking lot with liquor and snacks Id you dont want to pay hotel prices. They have some Sports bar with attentive and educated service. breakfast can be included with your room at the safari restaurant and they have a higher end dining room open for evening, even in the slow season. In winter we didnt need lockers and had no problem finding seats or tables when needed. And it was busy day or night! Always friend for my daughter to make. We will go back until she says shes too old for it. I totally beat the high score on the Life size Pac-Man video game.

Awesome resort
This is a big, nice, newish place. We had a room on the top (5th) floor. Room was clean. Decent bed and Murphy bed. Quiet with no noise issues. The bedroom got a little bright in the a.m. but not too bad. The living room with Murphy bed was dark. Two good TVs (with some English channels). Good bathroom and shower. Keurig with good coffee. Fridge but no microwave in room (one on 2nd floor). My only minor complaint about the room is that it was a bit plain. Room was warm. Nice big window. Decent pillows. The cot we requested was an odd one....very thin mattress. But we just put the two big sofa seat cushions on top of it to sleep on...made it good. Room was not that big but sufficed. Two fast elevators. Great front desk staff....spoke English. A fairly long line to check in right at 4:00, but they had four or five staff doing it as fast as they could. Impressive lobby, shops, restaurants, etc. And of course, the attractions (snow tube park, Bora indoor water park, and ice hotel were all amazing. We had a blast. A bit pricy, but very worth it!! (Tip: the convenience store right in front of the resort is excellent....got food, coffee, etc, there).

Review
I drove five hours today to come here as a special treat for my son who has been in the hospital for two months recovering from two open heart surgeries. We were very much looking forward to this special trip to make some good memories since we missed Christmas, New Years, and my sons birthday. Within five mins of checking in some kids left this note under our door and I called the front desk to be told we cant do anything about it Very disappointed

Eh... torn
We loved that our kids loved the experience on march break. But if we come back next year, we will be staying somewhere else and just visit for the day. Its overpriced, unless your kids are 14 you have to pay for yourself as well even if you arent going to use the park. Gouge. Pros +fun for kids +arcade, waterpark, restaurants, sledding +swimwear, snowgear available in shops +everything under one roof +ice hotel was my favorite Cons -overpriced -wifi signal poor at best -food was poor -only.couod.usenthe water park for.half the day, and the line ups were so long, it wasted much of their time -skating was closed -no breakfast Hotel is all about the benjamins.
