Location Location Location!Just back from a long weekend in L2A staying at Hotel Turan from 8th Feb to 12th. Hotel is spot on for a ski trip with the proximity to the chairlift (Village) incredible! The boot room is literally 5m away from the lift and you can ski back down the mountain to this point. Breakfast was good and the rooms nice and clean with good bathrooms. The bar provided us with great service when back in from a days skiing. With outstandingly attentive bar staff (sorry didn't get their names). A nice walk down the piste to the main resort took only 10 minutes so we were happy that the hotel was too far out. I would 100% return to Hotel Turan! Thank you for a wonderful stay on our recent trip!

AMAZING!Amazing location, right next to a major ski lift, so perfect for ski in ski out. Its about a 15-20min walk into the village center but also has ski rental and restaurants close by (The restaurant opposite called Capricornes has the best pizza Ive had outside of Italy.) Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful for everything but especially restaurant recommendations and bookings. Spa is great after skiing and well worth the extra cost. Our rooms were larger than any Ive ever stayed in when skiing, and also very very clean (and warm.) I would highly recommend hotel Turan and would stay here again in the future.

Poor hotel. Would not stay againI've just returned from a 1 week stay at Hotel Turan. To cut a long story short it was expensive for what is a poor quality hotel. Spa and wellness facilities were closed / faulty all week. This was one of the main reasons we booked the Hotel and to find it unusable was very disappointing. Bedroom was dorm-like in appearance and the beds were squeeky, uncomfortable and pillows were worse than I'd imagine were given to prison inmates. Bathroom didn't have an extractor fan. The shower was either cold or boiling hot. The shower head was held together by gaffer tape. Breakfast very basic and boring. Coffee not great. Same two types of cold meat and cheese every day. Same over salted scrambled eggs. Good points: location for skiing is good because it's right next to a major lift. Having said that, for socialising in town it's about a 25 minute walk up hill on the return from restaurants on the main road. The bar service was always pretty good and cocktails were good. Overall I'd give the place 2/5 with the 2 being given for location and bar staff. The rest was woeful.

Big thank you to the reservations team!I didn't have an opportunity to stay at the hotel as, due to a personal issue, I had to cancel my trip. My booking at the hotel Turan was non refundable. The guys at the hotel were extremely helpful and let me cancel with much better terms! Will definitely consider rebooking if I ever come to Les Deux Alpes. Thank you!

Very average, cannot lie.So. Lets break this down. There were 4 people in my group. We had an excellent suite type thing. Spacious rooms and good value for money. BUT the bathroom was tiny. The shower was unreliable. Literally, you would turn the knob 1mm to one side and the temperature would change to either freezing or scorching. When I booked I had in mind a relaxing, warm shower after a long day of skiing. But no. I found myself submerged into the Antarctic or into a pool of lava. Food. Boys, I wont lie, the food was terrible. Pasta never cooked, the meat was dry, rubbery. I had to go to the local (overpriced) shop everyday to buy things to eat. To be fair to Mr Turan, breakfast banged and they even invested in a Tropicana machine. The corridors REEKED of cigarette smoke. Staff also drilled and did work late into the night, like not appreciated. So yeah in conclusion, rather average. Wouldnt stay in again.
