  Excelente!!!

  Disfrutamos una semana con 3 de mis hijos en enero del 2015. Realmente el hotel es excelente y recomiendo tomarlo con media pensión. La comida es sencillamente espectacular. Calidad , variedad y cantidad son 3 atributos que el hotel cuida a la perfección. Vale la pena!

  Unforgettable week at Hotel Touring

  My partner and I decided on the Dolomites for our first ski trip outside Australia based on recommendations of the area and the vast array of skiing available. Given we were traveling at peak season, we chose to stay a week at Hotel Touring and it exceeded all expectations. Pre-trip, the hotel were quick to respond to any questions I had over email, regarding ski passes and arrangement of lessons. A quick note to those traveling to the area for the first time; book the Dolomiti Super Pass so you can ski around the mountain. If you book your ski pass more than 2 business days in advance, the hotel will have it waiting for you when you arrive, which was really convenient. With ski lessons, book via the link the hotel sends you for the St Christina ski school. Not being familiar with the area, we pre-booked lessons in Selva, which was too far away, so we had to give them up. Access to the mountain is via a chairlift that is 100m away (take this one if you want to start on the easier runs), or there is a free shuttle the hotel provides that takes you to the Sasslong gondola, literally a 5 minute drive. The shuttle service was incredible; not only did they drop you off in the morning, you could also text to be collected by 5pm from the apres ski bar each evening. Breakfast and dinner was included each day, the quality was impeccable and the staff were attentive, professional and fun. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quite large and there is a separate ski room to store your skis and boots each evening. We chose the free parking, which was right next to the hotel and super convenient. Unfortunately we didnt get a chance to check out the spa/sauna area...next time! All in all, an unforgettable experience. We were really sad to leave and hopefully we will be back some day!

  Good experience

  We have stayed at Hotel Touring with family in January. The hotel has beautiful rooftop swimming pool and sauna and relax room. The food is great, the best I have seen in hotels in the Dolomites. The buffet is simple, but the dinner menu was always excellent. Central location in Santa Christina and quick shuttle to lifts. The room we had was new and really cosy and clean! The staff is really friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend. Recommendations: Would be nice to have tea area in relax room upstairs. Would be useful to have some food at the hotel for lunch as we came with child and had to go to restaurants nearby every day. It would be really nice if the reception area will be renovated and half of the dining area. There are some areas which are new and beautiful, would be great to have everything in one style.

  Nice atmosphere and excellent stay

  I was at the Touring for the 1st time, booking done by friends, they said "you won't be disappointed". That was absolutely true. The business is family driven, the Senoner family, Recently renewed, the premises are modern yet showing the typical style of the region. From the reception to the rooms, from the bar to the dining hall all, the hotel is characterized by high-level standards. Wide rooms and bathroom, floor heating, wide and comfortable shower, lift, parking, top level assistance, 4 stars fully deserved. The staff was kind, responsive, helpful. A special mention for the junior staff, Ms Elisa and Ms Alessandra: elegant, fast, always ready to help our needs and assist us with a smile. Kitchen: Italian/mediterranean, with a touch of imagination. Like the salmon accompanied with a side of white chocolate, or the broccoli-pesto dressage for the pasta. Seafood and vegan option always available. The hotel is quite near the Saslong ropeway, meaning that in 3 minutes by foot you may start skiing in one of the world's most famous domains. If you come to Val Gardena, give the Touring hotel a chance. You will not be disappointed.

  Good Value for the Price

  We thought the room we had at this hotel was a good value for the price. The hotel sits right in the heart of Santa Cristina. It was easy to ski downhill to the lift, and a short uphill walk back. Our room was relatively small and uncarpeted. I thought the bed was very hard and the pillows not very soft. I found out later that I should have asked for a topper for the bed to make it softer. The rooms were soundproof, which was really nice. We thought everyone who worked at the hotel was very friendly and went out of their way to please. We liked all of our waiters. We thought that the food was excellent, so we would definitely recommend getting half board. Most of the staff was not very fluent in English. I wanted porridge made with water but that was going to be impossible to get. The stainless steel rooftop pool with changing colored lights was stunning, and we enjoyed the textile sauna next to it too. We did not try out the adult saunas. There are two things that I would suggest. First, the ski room was an absolute mess, heavily used, very crowded all the time with everyone's equipment, and there was garbage laying around and puddles all over the floor that never got cleaned up. This area needs to be cleaned on a regular basis. Be aware that the hotel has no fitness room and no place to stretch. Parking and loading/unloading is an adventure, but that's Italy! I will definitely never forget the Hotel Touring Dolomites' wonderful breakfast croissants filled with apricot. Those almost make up for any deficiencies!
