  Excelente lugar en el sur de Italia

  Estuve en el Hotel Torre Fiore con mi familia y pasamos una semana increíble.El Hotel es un antiguo fuerte que esta totalmente renovado. Todas las habitaciones son diferentes, guardan los detalles tradicionales en la decoración pero al mismo tiempo tienen todas las comodidades de un hotel de lujo. El lugar invita a un ambiente relajado para disfrutar la comida y el clima del sur de Italia. Además hay varias atracciones turísticas muy cerca del hotel: ruinas romanas, pueblitos pintorescos, viñedos, la playa, etc. El servicio en el hotel es excelente, todo el personal es muy amable y estuvo siempre al pendiente de ayudarnos en todo. Ya quiero regresar! Recomiendo ampliamente este lugar tanto para familias como para parejas, les va a encantar.

  Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous

  This is such a special place. Mariana, the owner, described it to us as a living museum or gallery, and this is evident in every room with the local artefacts adding unique touches to every space and area. You really feel immersed in the history of Basilicata whist also being made extremely comfortable with excellent amenities (the shower is fabulous), comfortable beds, stunning views and attentive, friendly staff. We can fault nothing about Torre Fiore. If youre planning a stay, dont be bashful, ask at reception about the best ways to view Matera and Pisticci. Both very worth a visit. Mariana has beautiful hand curated maps for both places which are lovely in themselves and particularly useful as they point out the spots easily missed if you only plough the tourist path. We cannot wait to return to this southern Italy idyll.

  A new favorite

  This fabulous little gem with just 13 rooms was suggested to us by our great travel agent @360privatetravel and we have to say it is so good. It is set off the beaten track overlooking vineyards and is encased in a surrounding wall that has the cutest gate to get in through. The owner is a fabulous Canadian (we think also half Italian) lady who is both charming & very funny with absolute elegance and taste. All the rooms are around the outside of a central courtyard which has loads of spots for sitting and passing the time. There is also a lovely pool area as well as a stocked bar & a brilliant restaurant that is very affordable for quality food & wine. The advice and information they give of the local area is second to none. The beach is a very simple 15 minute drive away.

  Designed to impress

  The best experiences are all about the details. The team at this "hotel" never miss anything. Every detail of your stay has been thought of in advance and allows you to immerse yourself in this part if Italy. Yes, the rooms, food and staff are exceptional, but they will also help you plan excursions and get you into local spots that regular tourists will never experience. We stayed in room 8, which was the old chapel of this historic fortified farm. Every room has a theme and is decorated to dazzle you. The facilities in each room are perfect, noting will leave you looking for more. You'll never feel more welcome than this place. Giovanni, the had waiter is a perfect example of the attentiveness and desire to make your stay perfect. Hope you get the chance to experience this place, words cannot do it justice.

  A beautiful Masseria between the hills of Pisticci where you feel at home

  The moment you arrive at the impressive entrance of Torre Fiore you will be curious to see what's behind.... you will not be disappointed ! An old farm beautiful restored; a main house in the middle of an authentic courtyard surrounded by different buildings where the rooms are housed. One side of the courtyard is open and gives you access to a beautiful infinity pool with a stunning view on the hills. We booked a deluxe room, but after discovering the other rooms we decided to upgrade to the Stalla Suite.... in one word Great. The master bed was huge and the most comfortable during our stay in the South of Italy. The decoration of the suite was rural with great Italian taste. Everything you need was there. We were feeling ourself in a private apartment with a cosy sitting area outside. In the restaurant near the pool ( also with a stunning view ) breakfast and diner are served. Each day you will find fresh local products at the breakfast buffet. We had the pleasure to dine several evening in the restaurant and it was a great pleasure. But the most important thing about Torre Fiore, you feel yourself at home due to the hospitality of Mariana and her team. All warm persons who from the moment of arrival to the moment of departure do everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Despite the weather didn't co-operate, we had a great stay and we were sad to leave. Our stay in Torre Fiore was the first of our two weeks trip, unfortunately we didn't find the beauty and and the kindness in the rest of the places were we stayed.
