  Wohlfühlhotel

  We had a great time there. Stayed there with the family for 3 days. The service was excellent. Food was great and we could taste fine italian wines. The rooms were large and clean. Also the Spa was perfect for us. Free Wifi and organizedhiking trips. A clear recommendation.

  Fantastic hotel

  We spent a week in this fabulous hotel in July 2018. The staff was attentive, the rooms super comfortable, and the general atmosphere of active relaxation. The food was superb. The breakfast was rich and varied with fresh bakery, fresh fruit and juices, and a wide selection of cold meats. You could also get a cooked breakfast and they run special events for both breakfast and dinner so that clients can sample the fresh local produce. Dinner was always a spectacle: a three-course meal deserving a few stars per night. The wine selection excellent. What we especially liked were the excursions led by Mr Franz Taubers. He is a great man: affable, good company, and a great guide to have especially when you have kids. We went twice on trails to the nearby Dolomites picks (20KM trail) and around Velturno (13KM) and we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff was also very helpful in advising on trips and other activities and therefore took the opportunity to go for a mountain bike trail (Vipiteno-Bressanone): 30KM with our kids and we loved it. We visited other parks and small towns and Velturno itself has a lovely little castle where they hold classical music concerts on Sundays. We speak Italian and a bit of German as well as mother tongue English. The staff could speak all these languages very well (as well as some French). Last but not least, esp. if you intend to trek and bike as much as we have done in that week, the hotel has a swimming pool and various types of saunas. The have a beauty parlour section where one can get massages and they have a big room where kids can play. In short we loved it and we can understand why so many guests we befriended had returned over and over again to the hotel. It is absolutely stunning value for money: you get a lot more than what you are promised. We shall be back soon!

  Great but not the cheapest

  Located in Felthurns (which is a lovely town on top of a hillside) the Hotel caters to all your needs. There is a lot on the plus side - Swimming pool is nice enough not big, but the outside one enough to do some laps. 4 different Sauna all very enjoyable (opens after 3pm). Our room was newly done, very spacious (!), hardwood floor and very clean (cleaning staff was very good and fast as well) - (but apparently not all rooms are like this). Hotel service in general very good and friendly. Breakfast what you would expect (service there a bit on the slower side). Can't comment on the Dinner. Also a nice thought is that all rooms got their rucksack which is very handy for your hikes. The hotel is reachable by shuttle/taxi the easiest either from Clausen or Brixen train station (there is also a public bus to Felthurns but does not run that often. Easiest is by car, parking available. 4 stars instead of 5 rather because I believe Price/Value ratio could be better.

  A place like home away from home

  The hotel is absolutely amazing. We took a family skiing trip to Italy and stayed for 4 days. Booked our stay with breakfast and dinner. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Fresh bread, roles, jelly, in house made porridge, sweets, juice, different cheeses and cold cuts.... and so much more. The hotel offered a different dinner menu every night. Kids buffet style dinner was amazing for our little one. The staff is amazing. Pool was great. Different activities are offered daily though the hotel (hiking, skiing ...) The room was spacious, beds comfortable and very clean. You get bathrobes and towels for the pool with your room. We would definitely stay here again!!

  Everything perfect!

  We just stayed for two weeks in this wonderful hotel. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, always ready to answer our questions and giving us advices on different things to do. We enjoyed the food so much, high quality regional products and always multiple choices available. The room was cozy, spacious and very clean. We also enjoyed the pool and the activities for children. Perfect for a family trip in the beautiful South Tyrol!
