    Avoid at all costs

Ok this is not a proper hotel, it is more like a place where you want to meditate and spend sometime outside the real world. We spent a night here, we were invited to a wedding and it was celebrated in the church so we had to sleep in there. Anyway it is strictly religious, there's no way you'll get a double bedroom, all rooms have religious-themed paintings and crucifix hanging on the walls and every single piece of furniture has got a sticker on it which says that it has been purchased using founds from the european union... nobody in there is really able to speak any english, so be ready to get your frustration up from trying to deal with any of the guys working in there. Actually the frustration started building up when I first tried to book the room for the wedding, nobody was really able to speak english on the phone, hence hilarity ensues... up until the day I wake up and I need to get a taxi to the city, nobody was really able to help me out and just getting someone to understand me was quite a mission. food is pretty normal, I'd say probably I've never been eating this bad at a hotel but again, it is not really a hotel so... it is located miles away from Krakow, so I guess if you don't really need to stay around the area just move out or find something else. the bottom line is: unless you're looking for some time off according to the most hardcore catholic standards, avoid this at all costs. If you happen to be invited to a wedding like me, well try to get someone to drive you back to krakow at night, pricewise is a complete rip off (you can get a 4 star hotel in krakow city center for pretty much the same price) and you still be lost in the middle of nowhere.

Nice place but not the best resto

The hotel is very nice and it's clear that it's been renovated recently. The restaurant leaves much to be desired though and it feels quite empty, however that may be perceived as a good thing by some :)

    Perfect!

I only stayed for 4 nights but it was worthwhile. The staff were extremely helpful to a first time visitor of Poland. The location was great and driving to where I needed to go during my stay, which included Krakow, Auschwitz and Wieliczka was a breeze. The history of the site was very interesting. A big thanks to Magdalena, Klaudia, Jozef, the girl who looked like Anna Kournikova and everyone else. I wish I could've stayed longer!

    Peaceful and inexpensive

I spent there just one short night. I was looking for cheap hotel within driving distance from Krakow. Picked this hotel because it was just Eur 20 a single night with breakfast. I was happy. The hotel is located out of town in a monastery building. Its very silent area and I had very good sleep. Breakfast was good too. Room was small and basic - but perfect for single one night stay. Reception desk closed at 9pm before I arrived. But they gave good and clear instructions how to pick the key from a father in the monastery. No frills but very good value place.
