  Italian Faulty Towers

  The location and rooms at this hotel are nice, and the barman makes a good cocktail. Unfortunately, that is where the positive comments end. The owners have very little regard for their guests, and seem not to understand the concept of customer service. They arent in the least bit interested in ensuring that their guests have an enjoyable stay and were completely unapologetic about issues with noise, confusion with rooms and the behaviour of other guests. The food in the restaurant was very average and no where near the amazing standard of the places to eat up the slopes (avoid half board and eat dinner in the pretty town centre a short walk away)! A good resort for a weekend skiing but save your money (and stress) and avoid this hotel.

  Authentic, friendly, great atmosphere

  We are a party of 9 in the middle of a ski stay and love it here. Really nice atmosphere, the team couldnt be more helpful. Family rooms are great with extra beds on a mezzanine level. Very good food with flexibility accommodating vegans. The bar is lively and fun for all ages. We dont agree that its dirty. We are a fussy bunch and find everything to be clean and well managed. The teenagers love the hot tub. Spa very pleasant too. The pedestrian area of town is a few minutes stroll away - great location. The ski shuttle works very well - very little waiting. The younger kids get picked up and dropped off every day. This place was recommended to us and were very glad to be here. Highly recommended.

  Family ski holiday

  Fantastic hotel. Welcoming, friendly, excellent service and a very comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed a wonderful stay. The staff could not do more to welcome families and accommodate children. The shuttle to and from the ski lift was a treat. Food was amazing.

  A very nice Italian family hotel

  We (family of 5) stayed at Svizzero for one week. This is a lovely family hotel run by ski enthusiasts. All of the staf did everything for us having a great week. This hotel is highly recommended if you are looking for a place with italian charm. Just be sure you dont get a room with traffic noise:)

  Friendly cosy atmosphere

  A last minute change of plans during our Summer holidays and we ended up staying one night at Hotel Svizzero as a stop on our way. Short stay but nice atmosphere - very lively at the aperitif time. Decent enough restaurant. Lovely cosy room in "chalet style". The front of the hotel may be on the main road but the back overlooks the river and overall the hotel has nice mountain views. A convenient place for a short stop on the way or a longer stay (winter or summer).
