To call it budget, neglect the rooms and charge a premium defies the definition of budget accommodation. As a pair of cyclists travelling Malaysia we found this place accommodating as we do require space for 2 bicycles. The hotel was accommodating on this level which was a relief but we did find that the service stopped there short of replacing the roll of toilet paper at our request. The rooms they showed us turned out to be "show rooms" and the room they gave us the key for was small and the twin beda had to be pushed together to open the door. The bathroom was coated in scum and the shower was broken causing water to spray the room. The service was disapointing as when it was pointed out that the sheets were dirty the staff said, quote "what do you expect it is a budget hotel". Also the air conditioner was not working and when the same staff member was approached he told us that it was mild and that all the units were the same. After some fiddling about I was able to fix it but it did fail again during the night. In regards to the location it is very grey and industrial, providing few restaurants and a small supermarket.

Thin walls, bad attitudeWe are recommended this place from Sea Front hotel as we were told it was cheaper. We pulled into Hotel Suria, about 5k from the other hotel to see a van from Sea Front Hotel. The prices were the exact same. I toured their showrooms and I pointed out a stain on the sheets and the manager said, "what do you expect, it is a budget hotel." I can rant about the small room sizes, AirCon not working, valves falling apart in the shower, thin walls hearing our neighbors TV and phone conversation at 5:30am and so on but the managers quote should suffice about their attitude.

Ripped us off!I just stayed at Suria Hotel in Port Dickson, this was by far the worst that I ever have experienced during my travels. We got the price from booking.com, everything was fine, but when we arrived the guy who runs the place wanted us to pay 170 rmb instead of the 130 that we booked for. This may not seem much, but for a backpacker couple, this was out of our budget since we also expected to pay less. He said that it was because of taxes and so on and that it isn't applied on the rates that was given to us by the website. Fortunately, he was "kind" enough to bring the prize down to 150 rmb but this is still outrages. Since it was the day before New Years, and not a lot of places to stay around in Port Dickson we swallowed our pride and budget and paid the man. Later during the day I figured that the taxes cannot be 40 rmb (calculating from his first given prize) so I went and confronted him. He then blamed the whole thing on booking.com - saying that they're not updated, and explained that because of the public holiday the rates goes up. I understand that, but then it should be STATED on the website. This guy clearly ripped us off and made a buck of us. Although it wasn't a huge amount, it's still the principle. I have contacted booking.com and they've been really attentive at this matter, which I appreciate. I'm not looking for anything in , I just want to warn fellow travellers about this place. all in all, the place is not worth visiting for what so ever; small rooms, not clean and since our room was pretty close to the reception - we got woken up EVERY morning at 6.30 by the staff who didn't take any consideration for their guests since they shouted out loud and made a heck of other noises. DONT STAY HERE FOR ANY REASON!

Newly Painted, Clean Place. Good for a stopover.Reasonably priced, we plaid less than rm100 for a night. The place was quite clean, they had good air-conditioning and a water heater. WIFI was a little poor, and the walls are quite thin But for a stopover at a very low price, was very satisfied.

Cheap and okThis must be one of the, if not the, cheapest place in Port Dickson. The building could do with some refreshing and the room was really tiny but it had everything that was needed. They also provide water and towels. The bus station might be a 15-20 minutes walk away but you have everything else you right next to the hotel.
