  Very near to Hikone station. Everything is nearby

  I stayed in this hotel for a one day and found this hotel to be very near to the station. So it is one of the better options if you are travelling to Hikone first time and don't want to spend time locating the hotel. The rooms are a bit smaller but clean. The beds could do with bigger size. Hikone castle is located very nearby about 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

  Good location & friendly staff.

  A nice room with 2 single beds & very close to Hikone station. Quite a few restaurants close by including a delightful French restaurant called Apprenti. I arrived early & the front desk kindly let me check in at 1 pm for which I'm forever grateful.

  Satisfactory and close to Hikone Station

  Great clean and comfortable accomodation right near Hikone train station.... Rooms are standard size for a Japan with complimentary toileteries and everything you would expect for Japanese hospitality... They will always do their best to help you if you have a question. Hotel Sunroute is close to Hikone station, supermarket and 900m approx to the gardens and Hikone Castle.

  Close to the station

  A small bedroom that is well equipped for a night's stop over be it visiting the castle or? Sadly when we visited many restaurants were closed and we found it difficult to get a table for dinner quickly. It was also difficult to find a menu in another language other than Japanese.... fair enough it is their country but there were a lot of tourists walking round not sure of what food was available.

  Convenient location

  Location is excellent. Very easy to find and very close to the station. It is a nice hotel with nice friendly staff. Water is provided and service is great. The only shortcoming is the room and bed is too small even though we have made it clear during booking the number of persons staying. This is the only thing that could make our stay more comfortable. There are lots of restaurants around. It is also not far from the attractions.
