  DHARAMSHALA IN A HOTEL COVER

  Just Stayed there for 2 nights from 26th Dec 2018 with 4 sea facing rooms. Its a Dharamsala or a Hostel you can say, but not a hotel. Still I can`t rate it as terrible because of it nice view of the Vivekanada Rock from the balcony with refreshing sea breeze all day. But the demerits are pointed as below: 1. The hotel is running without computer in the reception desk. That took a long time to check in. I have found a hotel without a computer in last 7-8 years. The reception guy was alone with heavy rush which obviously made him irritable to customers. 2. There is only one 4 passenger lift for the entire hotel. So every time it took 15 minutes to get the lift for our 9 passengers which is not a very good experience. 3. They don`t clean the room every day. I approached to the house keeping who did not even bothered to hear. Rooms are cleaned on check out only. So if you are there for 3 nights you have to use the same bed cover and towels with untidy room conditions. 4. There is absolutely NO SERVICE from the in room dining. They told me that getting tea is next to impossible in the morning time as they are short of service boy. One evening we got tea with a heavy bill. By the way....they dont have Tea/coffee maker in the rooms. 5. Breakfast was served from 8 am till 9.30 am. Only 90 minutes for the entire hotel made the restaurant full and clumsy. Most of us skipped our breakfast on both the days. 6. The hotel was full in that peak season and parking of car was a big issue. We somehow managed to get our Tempo parked in the backside. The ambiance of the hotel is very dull and frustrating where the staffs really don`t care about the customers as it was always rush for rooms in the place.   Ok kinds, not value for money

  The hotel looks great from outside. Rooms were not that great. We checked in on 4th Jun and checked out on 6th. Toilets had cockroaches. Food was average. Room service was ok. I would not like to call it bad either. But room rates vs. the room quality was not justified. We were in 325 and 326, glimpse of the sea was visible from the bed. So that way it was satisfying.

  COLLEGE ALUMNI GET TOGETHER

  The location of the Hotel fantastic. Rooms are hi-tech and well furnished. Service and staff are very friendly. No question on safety and security 200% safe for everyone. A class restaurant with awesome food varieties. Wish to go again to stay....

  Location is good...food very bad.Room service is bad

  Only location is very good near to Amman Temple and Boat jetty.Room service is not good.Restaurant is horrible...very bad but highly priced food. no drinking water provided in the room inspire of requesting.

  GREAT LOCATION, GOOD FACILITIES & HELPFUL STAFF

  The main attraction of the Hotel is the Location. Very near to the Sea Beach, Launch Jetty, Wandering Monk Exhibition and other attractions. The rooms are good, well planned with large mirror and nice curtains. The staff is very friendly, helpful and co-operative. Varieties of food are available in the NKR Restaurant.
