    Good hotel to stay in

I have visited Bosnia i Herzegovina and I found it a good one, The room was clean and the staff are good and speak English. I have noticed that the breakfast is different a bit from usual as I am used to take coffee and milk. Cleanliness is good, sometimes noisy at night when there is a party. In general a good hotel and not expensive.

Great Prices and Excellent Hotel Restaurant

This hotel I chose because of it's proximity to the airport so I could just walk to it in the morning for my flight. It takes about 20-30 mins depending on an average walking speed. The entrance is through the restaurant so that was a bit odd, but they were able to help me get set up for my room. The price for a single room is a great deal so I was happy with that. Little English spoken, but that's fine as you are no longer in a tourist area of the city, so that didn't surprise me at all. I informed them I would need to get up very early 4:30ish) and asked what I could do with my key, and they stated I could leave it on the desk. So the room I had was really small, but again, for the price, what would one expect. The hallways and upstairs (and larger rooms I saw open) were much nicer, but for 2 people. Room had a small bed with a t.v. above it, a chair that served as a chair and a table, a small shelf next to the bathroom and then the bathroom and that was about it. Location wise, it's not really a location for anything other than the airport. There is a grocery store close by, but for anything interesting like Vrelo Bosne, or the Tunnel of Hope, it's still a good long walk to either of those (which I did). Noise level wasn't the greatest, not because of car traffic, but because of stray dog fights I heard. So that was actually quite loud. I also could hear people talking downstairs at 3am (or maybe it was upstairs) and so you can easily hear your neighbors and restaurant noise. The restaurant is big and has a nice big menu with lots of options. I had one of my best meals there from my entire trip (veal with mushrooms I think it was and veal soup). So for a last meal, this was a perfect place and I didn't have to leave the hotel at night to find a place to eat which made it much more convenient. One strange issue I had was the next morning and left my room to walk to the airport around 5am. No one was at the front desk (as I expected that early) so I left my key and found the door was locked to get out. The Door to the garage was also locked and the room key would not open them. I went up stairs, and realized it was looking like going out of my window and climbing on the roof to get out to make it to the airport might be the only option. I went back down and started knocking on the desk and nothing, I finally yelled out for someone, think I said "Bog or Hello" or something. Finally a man from the restaurant came and opened the door. I don't know if this was by mistake or if he had heard me or seen me on another closed circuit t.v. camera (which they have at the desk). So I now was able to walk through the closed restaurant and exit. So not far from the airport, but not the closest (though it probably is the cheapest) and only 2 others are closer. Most the airport hotels seem to be based in Ilida, but with that, it's a lot longer to walk and you have to rely on airport transportation and such. I prefer walking if I can, so for me the location wasn't bad at all. The hotel served it's purpose, but with the price for the room, it really couldn't be beat and I got more than what was expected (along with being locked in). And again, it's very clean and kept up place with a really great on location restaurant...

    Pleasantly surprised

The hotel was located close to the airport and near a major junction taking you straight into the city of Sarajevo. I stayed with a group there for work and I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and friendly staff during our two week stay. The food in the restaurant was very good local cuisine. An added bonus was the availability of quick laundry service. A few drawbacks were the close proximity to the road and the associated noise. Also wifi connection in the rooms was often frustrating because often you could not connect and was forced to leave your room to connect. But overall, the price and basic qualities of the hotel outweighed the drawbacks. I would definitely stay there again.
