  Best Place in Marburg

  In the small city of MARBURG this is the best Place to be. With a hotel that will make you feel as you were in your own house. If you go, enjoy the restaurant of the hotel, with Classic delicious food and some wines that create the best Place.

  Agood value for the mony

  We (couple) went to Marburg for 4 nights to visit our sun who learns there. We arrived to the hotel very late so there was no one in the reception. We got the key form a box hanging outside the office. The room was very big and shining clean. The only problem was we had not enough hot water in the shower. Beds where comfortable. breakfast at the first day (1th May holiday) was great and on the coming day it was good. in the morning, when we told about the room problem we immidiatly got a room to get a good shower and until we finished breakfast they have arranged another room for us. (we also got a compensation for the first room). In total the hotel is located in a very quiet country-side about 10 Km from Marburg. The staff is very helpful and proffetional.

  1 night stay

  drove from Frankfurt for 1 night stay to visit Michael Schumacher exhibit. Hotel is closed on Sunday's, as is a lot of Marburg; however, they have a 'drop box' with your room key. room very clean; free mini-bar; breakfast included in price. typical European breakfast. no A/C, however, room was cool with window open. beautiful view from room. if you are there not on a Sunday, there is a food store across the street from hotel.

  Not in Marburg

  Contrary to what the address says this hotel is not in Marburg but in a sleepy village called Michelbach some 8km north from the city. This should be made clear, we spent an hour trying to find it in the city, which, after a day travelling was not very nice. The room we booked was at the budget end of things, the shared toilet/shower were clean and well maintained. We ate in the restaurant, the staff were attentive, the food acceptable and the prices maybe a little on the pretentious side. Breakfast was excellent. For the price paid it was not exceptional but our only real issue was lack of honesty over the location.

  Perfect balance

  The Hotel is just 7 kms away from Marburg and is a Great Place to stay for a weekend. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We had room 24 which was large, overlooking the garden. There was a sofa, free minibar and wifi. The bed were very comfortable and the room extremely clean. On the ground floor there is a free coffee machine which is brilliant. The breakfast buffet offers a huge variety and is really very good. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the region, great value for money.
