  Good waiter made our stay

  The food in the hotel restaurant was surprisingly good and our personable waiter Gabor made such a difference in pointing us to suitable dishes and even showing us the fish specials. Really enjoyable stay despite the poor weather.

  Very Satisfied

  Our first time this hotel. We were very pleasantly surprised. Good location, the service efficient and friendly. Cleanliness: very good. We definitely recommend the hotel and have no problem returning for a future stay.

  Great location, spacious room with an 80's feel

  Take me back to the 80's but in a good way. I loved it. The room we stayed at was very spacious and we had the view of the church. Room was clean, bed was comfy and we even had a nice couch. No, it's NOT luxurious but it is comfortable and actually fits the "Breisach picture". Location is great! The reason why I took of a point, is that the bathroom could use an update, I showered and by the time I was done the whole floor was wet :( Also there is a very "musty" smell when you walk up the stairs to the lobby, it's kind of off putting. Otherwise nice hotel that I would return to.

  Short Family stay in the Black Forest

  The Hotel is located directly next to the main Town Square. Perfect location to reach main Attractions by foot. The reception staff was very kind and helpful! Very run down hotel and room which should be renovated as soon as possible! On top of that the room was actually very dirty and has not been cleaned properly during our stay. The cleaning service just changed the towels and go out within a couple of minutes. Not quite a standard for a 4-Star Hotel! Breakfast was OK but with very little selection to choose from. Price / Performance Ratio: poor

  I booked this hotel online. The location is great, the terrace is great, it is a good place to have dinner, food is fine and the waitress who served me some drinks was super friendly. These are the positives. The room was quite dark, a bit old fashioned and reasonably clean. The bed seemed not to be sitting level, which made me feel slightly uncomfortable. In this hotel the breakfast is not included which is fairly unusual for Germany. They charge a quite hefty 14,90 per person. I had breakfast at 9.15. It can be had until 10.00. Frankly it was a joke. Almost nothing left. When I asked the waitress seemed clueless. As with all staff she was very young. Not an issue but she was clearly not trained. A man in his 50s intervened. might have been the manager. He said they could make me a baguette. Fine. Still almost nothing to put on it. One slice of salami left. I understand that during these testing corona times you try to run a tight ship but this does not work. I stayed a few days at a hotel in Bavaria before driving to this hotel and for the exact same amount per night the room was super clean and nice. they had a super breakfast included in the price and very good wellness and swimming pool. And great service. My experience as a businessman tells me this hotel is problably to big for the location and has too high fixed and variable costs to be made profitable. A shame as it has a lot going for it. I hope they get it sorted.
