3 starsrecently refurbished hotel, very close to einsiedeln main square where the kloster is the size of the room is the one expected for a 3 stars hotel, the bed and pillows were good, there was suffiecient storage space, the safety box was very small and the bathroom was sufficiently equipped free wifi was good soundprooffing was acceptable, however we had to keep windows opened due to hot temperature and lack of air conditioned, so we heard too many noises fom the street breakfast included in the room price was a very basic continental buffet despite the hotel offers parking in a garage in the oighbourhood for 12 sfr, they said they did not have space and i had to leave the car in the street, which allowes maximum 3 hours after paying at parkimetres there was a very basic gym i did not try their sauna i did not try ther restaurant the staff was helpfull dogs are accepted against a fee too expensive for what you get although i was in general lines satisfied with this hotel, i would probably try another one in case of a future visit to einsiedeln

Very Good placeBooking was easy and front-Desk was very helpful, Restaurant was very good - very fast in serving, polite and prices are fair. Rooms have a modern infrastructure, very clean and full of amenities. They serve a rich breakfast and the checkout was quick. Coming by car, use the main parking near the cathedral, it is affordable and the best choice since the small town is very busy.

A septembre 2019 to rememberAfter my mother was shattered to dust by uncaring & selfish doctors and their staffs, she recovered enough to be able to enjoy one of her passions: travel. Having had past wonderful recoveries after visiting the Back Madonna @Einsiedeln Kloster, we chose the St.Georg hotel to enjoy a short trip, armed with a convertible wheelchair/rollator. The hotel staff has been incredibly sweet and caring. From the front desk to the breakfast room and housekeeping. We also met nice fellow travelers. A little gem. Don't expect large rooms or luxury. Its luxury is its staff and the central location, a few steps from the Kloster and nature hikes. Parking (uncovered or covered) is available nearby. Vielen Dank!

Worst customer serviceIt is a budget hotel, with bare basics. Still rooms p/night are 150CHF. However, even cheaper hotels which don't offer luxury amenities usually have friendly and top-notch customer service. This was not the case. The person at the reception who checked us in had the worst attitude borderline rude. He ignored almost every question that I asked (he perfectly understood English) yet choose to reply in German. During breakfast when I asked if I can have more eggs he pointed at the clock on the wall it was 5 min past 1030 and said - No bfast is over. Rules are rules everywhere but slightly different attitude would change your guest's perception. When I asked him about Spa and Massage services - he said "This is corona time you need to book a day ahead". His behavior and comments were borderline insulting and as much as I want to help businesses these days to survive I cannot help sharing this.
