  A very nice hotel

  This hotel serves as a good base to explore the mountains, and hike the well-marked trails. It advertises as a 4 star place but doesnt really have that luxury. But it is very comfortable and the staff are universally friendly and helpful. They also do not charge 4 star prices. The rooms are not that large, but they do have a balcony to relax on and view the mountains. The beds may be too firm for some (my wife put a blanket under her to help). Breakfast had an assortment of cold food selections and was quite ample. Pescasseroli town (fairly nondescript) is at least 20 walk so we drove in for dinner. Note, that many restaurants are closed by Oct. (including Daniels) and the two we tried in town charged Tuscany prices for very basic food (worst we had in Italy). We would certainly consider Hotel Daniel if we ever returned

  Amazing place for relax

  We spent two nights here. The owners were very kind. Hotel room was clean. I recommend this hotel for everyone who like nature. Walking, in winter time skiing. Breakfast was enough - my husband like eating - so egg is missing for him, but in the other hand we received jm, croisson, salami, chees, cereal, strawberry and other fruits...

  A great weekend

  I spent 3 nights at the Sport Daniel Hotel and it was a great experience. Rooms are huge, spotless, comfortable. The service is great, everyone so available, the outside-covered pool is amazing and it's a highlight in Pescasseroli I highly recommend to anyone.

  A lovely stay

  We were so pleased to have the opportunity to return to Hotel Sport Daniel. We were not disappointed. The family running this hotel are delightful: very kind and helpful. We have loved getting to know the different generations of the family, who are all involved in running the hotel. Roms are very comfortable and clean, with nice balconies. Breakfast is excellent. All in all, a first class stay. We look forward to our next visit.

  Wonderful hotel and the service and price excellent too.

  Stayed here for a weekend recently just for some relaxing time in the countryside. The town of Pescasseroli is 1200m above sea level so snow is common during the winter months, so you need to have winter or snow tyres to get there safely. We know the town and this was the first time we tried this hotel and it was really a great find. The family are very welcoming and friendly and the hotel is spotless and the room (we had 23) spotless and very large too, with a super bathroom. We arrived in a snow storm and the room was really warm and welcoming, then we had dinner in the restaurant and that too was excellent and very reasonably priced too. The location of the hotel is great, half way between the skilifts and the city centre so with just short car ride you can get anywhere. Recommended.
