Inexpensive, good price/value relationshipWe traveled to Jesolo during the off season for a race. The hotel was chosen for price and location. Price was fine for what it was. Good staff, reasonably comfortable rooms, adequate breakfast. If I were planning to spend a week holiday with my family, I probably would not chose this hotel, but for a night to recover from a half marathon, it was fine. Hotel is 2km from start/finish of race, so a *bit* farther than we really wanted to walk, so maybe next year, I'd stay a little closer to finish line. Parking was free, internet quality not great.

Nice hotel/excellent location for beach and resort/value for moneyJust arrived back from spending 11 nights at this hotel. Smallest twin room have ever stayed in with tiny bathroom. It was bright and cleaned each day. Hotel sits right on the beach and the view from the balcolny more than made up for the size of the room. It was sometimes noisy being able to hear the people in the next room showering and using hairdryers etc. The staff on reception were very helpful with any information we needed and ensured we had everything we needed for any trips we wanted to go on. We stayed half board and it was good value for money. Buffet breakfast, which was okay but tended to be the same buffet everyday. The food at dinner was served to you and very nice. It was served the italian way, starting with a choice of vegetables/salad from a buttet. Then followed by a choice of a second and third course(always a choice of fish, meat, or veg dishes) and a desert, if you could fit it in. Allocated free sunbeds on the beach, which was ours for the length of our stay. Lovely beach, which is cleaned each day and is very safe for children. Most of the other guests were mostly italian, who seemed to be very friendly. The hotel has a beachside bar serving drinks and snacks, which are reasonably priced. If you are going to stay here chose a room with a sea or partial sea view at the front of the hotel as these seem to be more modern and have a balcony. We had a partial sea view room (no 59) and it was a lovely view.

Beautiful place under the sunGreat location, beautifully maintained beach front, delicious food, charming people We stayed there for three nights. Our group of about 30 people were taking part in the Venice International Folk Festival. It is a lovely place to stay whether with a big group of friends or just your family. We took a day trip to Venice and enjoyed the beach for the rest of the free time we had. Would go there again.

You get what you pay for.Yes, this hotel is inexpensive but, you get what you pay for. You won't get luxury but, it's clean, right on the beach, close to aqualandia (the biggest waterpark in Italy) and within an hour of Venice. If you want somewhere convenient and clean to sleep this is the place for you. Breakfast is not bad the usual ham, cheese, preserves, fruit salad, boil your own eggs etc. There is only one coffee machine, so be prepared to queue for your morning hot beverage. The hotel provides free bikes for up to 2 hours (you pay for longer use), make use of these, as the main strip at Lido de Jesolo is 15k long and full of enticing shops and restaurants. It's also about 10 mins walk from the bus terminal so convenient for the airport bus and the bus-boat link to Venice and surrounding Islands. We loved the island of Burrano, which is like a miniature version of Venice without the crowds. And Aqualandia is a must for all ages. We didn't eat here in the evening but, why would you want to eat dinner in the cramped breakfast room when there are so many lovely restaurants close by? The WFI is patchy which is a frustration for teens and techies. The staff are overworked but cordial. Overall, Solemare is a quaint, sweet little hotel.

The best of Jesolo - sun, sea and a smile at hotel solemareWhile visiting Treviso two weeks ago, we took a last minute decision to spend the weekend in Jesolo - and we're so glad we did! After a brief scout around Jesolo, we were immediately drawn to the hotel solemare given its beach location and open terrace which looked like it had just been renovated. We asked for availability at reception and the owner explained that, while it was their opening weekend, they would be happy to accommodate us and we were quickly booked into a gorgeous sea view room (I'd recommend nr 21 for the views alone). The staff were so friendly throughout the stay and were keen to ensure that we were well looked after (they were wonderful with my son and attentive and helpful to all our questions on things to do). I've noticed that it's rated as a three star hotel but the rooms, service and overall experience make this more of a four star hote for me and are the reason I'm giving it a five star rating on trip advisor.
