    Winter Holiday

This winter was my third visit to this hotel. If you like skiing this hotel can offer you everything you need: equipment, shuttle, ski instructors... everything. The instructors are really good, all young people ready to help and teach you how to ski. They are also very good with kids and have a lot of patience. The price for one hour including renting the equipment and paying the instructor and the shuttle was about 25 euros. Of course, if you have your own ski equipment it costs less. The rooms are confortable, (we stayed at the lower levels each time) they have a tv, no air conditioning (but I believe it is no need for that, because it is very worm during the winter, the heating system really works well), there are 2 beds in each room and a small bathroom with tub. The rooms are not modern but they are clean and anyway, during a holiday you are not supposed to stay only in a hotel room. It is very clean, every day they clean the rooms, make the beds and refresh the mini-bars. The hotel restaurant is ok, like average, no fancy foods, but they are well cooked and the prices are not so high. (it depends on what you order). In the morning the breakfast consists from an open buffet: vegetables, cheese, eggs, cold meats, sausage, pastry, coffee, milk, yougurt, tea and juice. No fruit, fish or any diversity. So, the breakfast is unchanged every single day. The lobby is ok and the people are very helpful. But... because evry time there must be a BUT... three years ago when we first arrived there it snowed heavily and the parking lot was all covered in snow and we had to clean it in order to have a place to park our car. This year when we left there has also been a snow storm a day before and the parking lot was all cover in snow. We had to shovel hard by ourselves to clean it and reach our car. And when I say we I mean every single person in the hotel who was leaving that day... The best part is that the hotel staff was kind enough to give us many shovels, so we can shovel... This kind of attitude I didn't find to be quite right for a hotel, but is a three star hotel so you cannot ask for much. The price for a room is quite expensive, around 40 euros for a night, and, at this price they should offer more. Again, if you consider that you are staying during the ski season in a quite busy mountain resort the price can be understandable, yet, the services can be much improved. Next year I will be staying there again so I will have the chance to see any improvement (if there will be).

Come back in my country for holiday, but disappointed:our hospitality still in comunism

I had accommodation at the Rina Vista hotel for a week during Christmas 2015 and despite expectations can tell that, from the reception , continuing with the room, and ending with serving in the restaurant, everything is on poor qualification,Starting with front of house I Would say that all receptionist staff need training in check in and check out customers and communications. Continuing with room, a lot of maintenance issues like, improper and loose sockets, reading lamp missing, shower cabin too small, old tv.....and finishing with restaurant, table servicing done by old waitress, lack of training, no smile faces.Housekeeping service(no floor supervisor),For a 3star hotels, need a lot of improvement, all staff need training in relation with customer services, or maybe in attention of management to review the employment criteria. Definetely not return to Rina Vista Manuela Student BA Honnors DegreeHospitality Management London

    Old, comunist hotel

Old, badly maintained hotel. Website advertise many things they actually don't have or don;t want to offer such as: sauna (was apparently not functioning), kindergarten or play space for tkids (non-existent), shuttle to slopes (was there but did not work).....WI Fi was free but so slow! Quite far from the slopes. Restaurant was k and food was quite good except for breakfast which was poor and full of junk food. Would definitely not stay there again, other places such as Escalade are almost same prices but much closer to the slopes and definitely better managed.
