  Fantastic trampoline

  This was an unexpectedly wonderful holiday in a panoramic valley of Pragelato in a modern clean and spaceful structure. The rooms are large and nicely equipped in mountain style, warm and quite. The breakfast and dinner were excellent prepared by an Italian master chief Tommaso and we liked a lot the sunny terrace to take sun during after-ski. Would be very happy to come back any time!

  I have never written a bad review but this place is AWFUL!

  Can I start by saying that we are far from fussy and as a family we enjoy rustic camping and have stayed in hostels. The problem with this 'hotel' is that it is advertising as a hotel and opening its doors to school groups who enjoy running around screaming. This is not acceptable if you're sandwiched in a room between two groups of six of them and you have young children trying to sleep. We are not party poopers or fun police and it is absolutely not the fault of the children but this place should not be allowed to advertise as a hotel. It is a youth hostel at best. They refused to deal with my complaint at the time and upon my return. I gave them the opportunity to respond and offer apology but it didn't come. Here are the specifics of our stay; We arrived at 5pm to an empty reception desk. Had to go looking for someone who was very un-welcoming. Honestly the receptionist didn't smile once and we felt that we had put her out by asking for our room key Told our room wasnt ready, it took almost an hour until it was We were not offered anywhere to have a drink and wait (wed been travelling with young children for 12 hours by this point) We were told we couldnt eat in the restaurant that night as it was New Years Eve. Not a problem but frustrating. Did not sleep that night due to the 4 parties that were going on. Again, its New Years Eve so we went with it. Everyone deserves a bit of fun The following morning there is little to no breakfast. My children had a yoghurt and a tiny croissant There is then no access to ANYTHING all day. Appreciate its New Years Day but it is supposed to be a hotel. You cannot buy ANYTHING at the hotel Could not get to Sestriere to book into ski school via the advertised free bus so had no option but to accept the kind offer of a lift by the owner He charged us 120 Euros and gave us ONE HOUR in Sestriere. It is only a 15 minute journey He walks past various piles of vomit from party goers the night before that are at the entrance to the hotel. He does nothing. It stays there for the duration of our stay I explained to him that my children had very little at breakfast and that I would like to feed them some lunch. He told me there is nothing at the HOTEL despite it stating that there is a coffee shop I notice that the breakfast items from that morning had been left out in the sunshine (see picture) they include yoghurt that should have been refrigerated They were there ALL DAY ! He tells me the restaurant will open at 7pm We go to the restaurant at 7pm to be told it opens at 7.30pm One big cold room, we were one of two tables there We are not given a menu so we do not know what we are ordering or indeed what it costs. Incidentally I'm half Italian so had perhaps more of an advantage but not one person made an effort to help us understand. On day three of our stay a large school group arrived. Two groups of 6 teenagers are sandwiched either side of our room, with other groups all along the corridor. The noise is incredible. I have a recording I can send you. So our third night we did not sleep. Again In the morning I requested to leave and to have a refund on our remaining nights but the man I find says no that the owners do not allow it, despite me knowing that he IS the owner We leave anyway and pay a further £560 for another hotel Because there is never anyone on reception, keys are just left on the front desk for anyone to pick up We watched the owner taking rubbish from the hotel via mini bus and dumping it in the residential area Please look at my pictures
