  Vistas increíbles

  Ideal para la practica de deportes en nieve, muy buena atención por parte del personal, cordiales y muy amables. Un ambiente muy agradable y habitaciones acogedoras. Lo que mas me gusto fue el balcón porque tenia vistas hermosas. Nos gusto la ubicación porque nos pareció original.

  Great location reasonable price

  Fantastic location for beginners and intermediate level straight on the piste, with very good food included breakfast and lunch or dinner (optional but worth it). it could do with some updating but after all you are there for skying and food is excellent so nothing to complain for, actually the affordable price in my opinion is due to the fact that the have not yet spent money in renovation.... (therefore a plus not a minus). IN addition to that they have a free spa for 30 minutes every day included in the price... the use of the spa is exclusive for those 30 minutes...

  Location is good, but ...

  1. One should be aware that the hotel is on the mountain and the only way to get there is to use gondolas (that function from 8 am to ~4 pm). That means when you arrive to Cervinia you should park your car at the public parking and bring your suitcases and staff to the gondola station. We didnt know that and were not informed. 2. You are actually locked in the hotel from around 4 pm to 8 am. Dinner is from 7 pm to 9 pm so the rest of your time you just sit and wait till dawn comes. 3. It was really cold in the room - we were sleeping wearing parkas. The secret was - they turn off the heating at night. 4. Shabby. The roof was leaking in the corridor. Spent one day there with a family (which was a mistake to bring there a 6 year old kid) and left. 5. WiFi - didnt reach the room. Just considered this as a sunk cost and left spending 2 days instead of a week; and definitely this is not value for money.

  Location for downhill skiing

  The rooms at Lo Stambecco is a bit below standard but if you are looking for a hotel with superior location Stambecco is the hotel to choose. It´s situated halv way up the ski area so you can just put on your skiis directly outside the hotel and start skiing. For breakfast they a a buffet to choose from and dinner is three course. Food is not great but good enough in my opinion. This is NOT a hotel for you if you are looking for party, after ski etc.

  amazing view of the Matterhorn, perched on top with limited access making it an inclusive trip

  Breuil-Cervinia has a huge amount of snow as so high up, very organised and efficiently run ski resorts with plenty of runs for all abilities. Easy run through to Zermatt with young kids due to cable car system if you prefer but ski was really good, hotel was perfectly located for us and met all expectations, we were happy to not be in the village and be able to go to dinner in unicorn slippers(9 yr old) and comfortable clothing instead of having to wrap up again and go out. the hotel offered an enormous array of food for dinner and breakfast in the half board package, the rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable and lots of space with 2 huge games rooms for all ages and bar with free snacks from 5pm for guests. Very friendly staff and safe and secure environment as closed to public in the evening.
