  Horrible staff

  One of the worst experiences when it comes to customer service, I think they hire their staff based on how rude they can be, otherwise I can't explain how they grouped so many horrible people together. Food was terrible, the place is not posh at all, very kitsch. At least it's clean.

  Horrible conditions, crap food

  Food was horror. And I dont mean the menu choice but the quality of the food. Old food (rotten salad, cold barbecue meat, and even the bread was old). Hotel stuff is bothered by anything you ask, and are disrespectful. My company booked the hotel for 120 people. The schedule was very strict, if you went for breakfast and by any chance you tried to get some food before closing time (10 am in the weekend), you were told that the breakfast is over so stop taking food... They were mocking us with every chance they had. The rooms were also far from clean. My bed had a lot of hairs on it. But as it wasnt tiny curly hairs i hoped they are from somebodys head:)

  Silva Hotel in Busteni - an oasis of peace at the foot of the Bucegi mountains

  Silva Hotel from Busteni resort is located right at the foot of the Bucegi mountains and offers, from the hotel rooms and from the hotel restaurant, an extraordinary view - the Cross of Heroes from the Caraiman peak, Coltii Morarului. At the same time, the hotel is located very close to the cable car. It is a three star hotel, which it deserves. It is clean, decent, comfortable. The food is good and quite varied. If I were to notice something, I would say that in the lobby of the hotel and in the restaurant there are plastic flowers (orchids) and plastic shrubs. They are ostentatious and give a cheap hotel impression.

  Great location and scenic views

  Perfectly located hotel for those who want to be on the trails, first thing in the morning. Stunning views from balcony, you can watch the weather condition on the mountain's ridge while sipping your morning coffee. The cable way station is just a few steps away. Large free parking for hotel's guests. Stayed here in July 2020 and some restrictions related to coronavirus pandemic were still in place. The hotel's staff did well their job, so we felt safe from this point of view. Following the pandemic restrictions, the breakfast was delivered to the room with single use cutleries and it was decent and quite abundant. Although not high quality healthy products (some cold cuts, omelette, sausages) it was more than we could eat. However, we also prepared some sandwiches for the mountain trip from the breakfast foodstuffs. The bathroom facilities were all working smooth and the room was clean. Wi-Fi was also good.

  Shame on you!

  I was not a guest at the hotel, but I stopped by to ask for permission to go to the toilet. As there was no one at the reception, I tried to go to the bathroom, but it was closed. After the receptionist came, I was asked to pay 3 RON (as I was not a guest at the hotel) in order for her to give me the key and use the restroom. It is outrageous for any HORECA place to ask for money when it comes to your physiological needs. SHAME on you, Hotel Silva!
