  Good Service and Very Clean But Noisy

  Good clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was normal continental style with a fairly basic choice of cereal, bread etc, the coffee however was very good. The rooms are well equipped with flat screen tv, safe etc. The hotel looks like it has been very recently renovated as it is extremely well presented and the equipment looks new. It is centrally located in the town which can be a positive and negative, the negative outweighed the positive for me. My room overlooked the main street and was very noisy - the road sweeper passed my room at 4.58 a.m! In summary: Positives - Staff, hotel decoration Negatives - Noise, average breakfast.

  Overcharged, lied to, and not refunded.

  My wife and I stayed here for one night in June on a short break through Belgium to the Floriade. I booked the Hotel through its own website. On checkout I thought the amount being charged was more than the confirmed rate but did not have the confirmation on me. On returning home I checked and found I had been overcharged and emailed the Hotel. The Hotel replied that the rate had gone up. (It had not actually when I checked their website). I asked for a refund to my credit card which was promised, but despite reminders, never materialised. So this Hotel firmly believes that it makes a contract with the client then tears up the agreement and decides to charge whatever it thinks fit. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

  Very good place to stay

  Hotel La Louve is only a short walk from the station and very near to some good bars, restuarants, Tourist Information and the square with the regular market. We were a little confused by the entry system (we arrived when reception was not staffed) but a very patient and helpful person explained what we needed to do to get our key and our room. The hotel was undergoing some renovation to the breakfast room but we were unaware of any noise and were happy to have breakfast served in our room, which was an apartment with a kitchen so we also cooked whatever we wanted to eat, lots of wonderful food to buy in the market!   Comfortable stay

  I stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The town is quite small, which means that the town plaza and restaurants are nearby. I was visiting during a hot spell, and the room air conditioning worked nicely. My room seemed to be recently remodeled, and looked fresh and clean. Breakfast was average continental - deli meats, cheese, croissants, cereals, and boiled eggs. I would happily return if I'm in the area again.

  Costumer Service is number one

  From the time we walked off the train until the day we left they kept doing stuff for us. Picked us up on the platform. My daughter looked at me and said which way do we go? I looked around and there was William with a sign and our name on it! So nice. He lead us through the Airport took our bags and drove us to the front door....the hotel staff took it from there! Is there anything else I can do is how they ended every conversation. We had plenty for them to do. Louve tickets, boarding passes, dinner and show recommendations....you name it. Perfect.
