  Ok but...

  We stayed over for a night and liked our room and the location ( 5 minute walk to the station ) BUT the bathroom was far from clean, the elevator showed the aging process of the place and so did the gloomy corridor, and we were disappointed by the fact that the big public bath was only for men while women had to be contented of the tiny 70s bathtub in the room. Breakfast was ok. We had a really good feeling with the nice staff in the morning. Nice restaurants in the area ( on the way to the station ). Ok for one night, wouldnt stay longer.

  Old hotel

  Location near gotemba train station only 5 until 7 minute to reach this hotel. I stayed one night the room is big but old and bathroom is small. The service is good and some staff can speak english well.

  First time in Select Inn with Mount Fuji View

  We picked here because it was near to Gotemba Station and we wanted the free shuttle to Gotemba Premium Outlet on our next morning. Of course there's plenty of other great choices but we chose here for this very reason. It takes about 5-10 mins straight walk from the station to this hotel. There's only one ramen restaurant next to it, but they don't speak English so we ended up having our meal in the hotel instead. As expected, for any budget-travelling, the room are small (bigger than Lungwood Hotel on my first night) and bathroom even smaller. This is going to be standard review statement I'm going to give every hotel I stay in Tokyo. But I had one of the magnificent view in the morning. The Mount Fuji. The weather was good so I had a good glimpse of the majestic mountain. The stay came with breakfast so the food was average - a buffet mix of American breakfast and Japanese curry rice. (Malaysia has the best buffet line, btw) The bed are better here with better pillows. The room are generally clean. The remote controls are in Japanese - so use Google translate app to push the right buttons.

  nice hotel near to gotemba station

  i was stay there for 2 days...over all i love this hotel...location arpund 10min walking from gotemba station. the room quiet clean, my first time stay in tatami room while in japan, the size also big not like other rooms in japan, provide bath tub and laundry room. breakfast quiet so so...they provide miso soup, tea/coffee, jus, salad bar and kari...will come back again if i came to gotemba

  Not a good Stay

  The Positive things First: the Hotel is close to the Station and the Breakfast is ok. The Room is Big Compared with other japanese Hotel rooms. Unfortunately our Room was disgusting. The Sink was broken, Everywhere was dirt, Stains on the wall, there were Hair and Stains on the matresses. I Never thought i would see a japanese Hotel that Dirty. The Bathroom Looks like a 70s Horror Movie. We could also hear Every Sound from the Rooms Next to and over us. We will Not Come back. One Star for the Location and the Breakfast.
