  Decent hotel on the border

  The Savannah is in the middle of a place built exclusively for Austrian tourists coming across the nearby border (shopping malls, kids amusement park, casinos). There is ample outdoor parking I paid for indoor parking which is a mistake it is small and cramped. Unless the weather is truly terrible, much better to park outside. The receptionists spoke English, some better, some worse (the second language here is German). Staffs level of English varied from almost nothing to fairly fluent. My room was reasonably sized, but seemed cramped two armchairs and a coffee table took up some space. Storage space was OK wardrobe with hanging space and some shelves could do with some drawers. Also had a safe deposit box. Bed was comfortable, but had a blanket (in a cotton cover) only - really need a single sheet as well for the warm summer. Bathroom was nice spacious, shower/tub. There was a minibar fridge in the room, although it was quite full of drinks for purchase. Medium-sized LCD TV had one English channel (BBC World), and all inputs. Wifi was slow-ish (clocked 5mbps/1mbps up/down) but worked fine. The room had a/c, although I never quite managed out how to set it no temperature controls just a dial varying from + to -. Breakfast is included: theres a breakfast buffet which is reasonable the same fare every day, OK but could be much, much better with more variety and some effort. The hotel also has a decent wellness center. It has a fairly large swimming pool, a small wet and dry sauna, a jacuzzi and a small fitness center. Theres also a Sri Lankan spa that offers treatments (didnt partake). Tip: the adjoining casino has an OK-ish dinner buffet beginning 6 pm.. If you feel like it, you can go in and have dinner every night. No obligation to play...

  Nice Hotel in Chalovice, Znojmo

  I was in this hotel for a week, and it was nice and clean. The Mall "Freeport" is just on the other side of the street, so if you want to buy clothes from Nike, Hilfiger, Hugo Boss Rossignol and other famous brands this is the place.

  Surprisingly good....

  A lot of money has been put into this hotel and I dont mean just the casino next door! It is really quite impressive in so many aspects, really has quality fixtures and fittings everywhere no expense was spared. Sitting in the lobby/restaurant area you could imagine you are a fine hotel in paris or the middle east easily. The staff could be a bit more customer focused and energetic. Food was fairly good, breakfast was of a pretty good standard also. Great parking inside and outside, amenities in the hotel also very good. Rooms are of good quality and fresh but I found the beds rock hard and not supportive, some may like this of course but I didn't sleep well. Retail park over the road selling more than you need plus a complex of supermarket, pet shop/restaurant, kids theme park, chinese cheap tat market selling all 'genuine' brands despite some spellings, a plane restaurant (no u eat on an old russian passenger jet!) with very expensive below average food. All of these places are in walking distance.

  Family Experience

  We stayed at the 3rd floor and overlooking the fields and not sound proof.The Spa, Pool and wellness area is located in the first floor. The Restaurant is highly recommended because the the Waiters and Waitresses are accomodating and friendly. The food was delicious and reasonable for the price (Ala Carte). The Air Conditioning system is fine but the room that we stayed in is not applicable for a family of four so we payed for an extra bed. The amenities in the bathroom is not all provided you need to ask the reception or the housekeeper for slippers. The soap and bathsoap are in a dispenser. We asked for cotton buds to clean our ears but they don´t have. For a 4-star Hotel all the amenities in the bathroom shoud be provided. Lastly the Receptionist is not that friendly from our check-in to check-out the same person. Breakfast was great!

  the quality of services decreases !!!!!

  I was at the hotel Savannah 10 days ago, and unfortunately the quality is always down. Especially at the level of reception at the reception which is worse and worse. We do not feel like the customer! moreover the cleaning of the rooms also drops a lot ..... a shame because it was a great hotel :-(
