  Great hotel

  I really liked this place. It was easy to get there by bus from Beppu station, just about 15 minutes. Staff members were really nice and helpful as always. I had a Japanese style room with a private rotenburo and I really loved it. Room was really big and view from my bath over the city was great. Public baths were also good in this hotel. Hotel bar was a bit old but it was still a nice place. I was the only customer that evening so I talked with the lady who was working there for a couple of hours and had a great time.

  Good hotel

  Stayed one night with dinner and breakfast included! Service was excellent and the food was delicious! Room was spacious but sadly, WIFI was not available in the rooms! The hotel has both indoor and outdoor onsen. The hotel looks a little old though. Would return to stay again!

  Very close to the 7 hells nice dinner

  Hotel service was impeccable. We arrived in heavy rain and the staff came out and help us. Location was next to the 7 Hells and close to the City. The price of the hotel includes the dinner and breakfast. We had a private dinning room with lots of different food and it was tasty. Room is big and modern with both tatami and bed. We love the onsen as it was really nice and big. Will definitely visit again if we come back.

  I do not understand why this hotel has a good rate

  Onsen is good but other service is not good. Cleaning people were all rude and dirty room not worthy for price.I am not gonna go this one again. Theres a lot of better hotels even cheaper hotels near this hotel. Amenities and yukata... oh.. such a bad quality... . . . . ....

  Very disappointed

  We were in Beppu for the rugby World Cup and our accomodation was booked by an agent. The accomodation was poor. We arrived Friday night and restaurant was closed so had to walk some distance in rain to a ramen restaurant recommended by hotel, which was good. The hotel was very rundown and in need of refurbishment, it smelt musty and aircon didnt work well. It was some distance from train station and restaurants in town there was a bus service to station but took about 40 mins, we ended up taking taxis. There was no wifi in rooms and only available in lobby and then only about 16 people could be on at any one time. Breakfast was very local, but the staff really made an effort to provide some western options and were very helpful, they spoke reasonable English. Reception staff had limited English and were not particularly helpful and no instructions in the room had English translation. The fridge in the room was locked and we had to get permission from reception to unlock every day. We would not chose this hotel again, we saw better hotels at cheaper rates closer to town.
