  Romantic and fabulous location

  Excellent service staff and good room service. A big hello to Livio and Lidia and a special hello to Angelo from London. A place to be considered to visit for sure at least once if someone goes by malcesine and i'm sure you will come back again and again to go for your stay in hotel, to go for an appetizer,to have a dinner in their restaurant or gust only to have a cappuccino.

  Charming hotel and great location

  We were booked into hotel San Marco by our travel agent for a four night stay in Malcesine. We were quite intrigued before arriving as the hotel seemed to feature in all the harbour side photos of the town. On arrival the staff were welcoming and friendly and ensured we knew where everything was in the town. The room was large and comfortable with lovely views of the harbour. We loved opening and closing the window shutters every day. We did wonder if it might be noisy, but there were no issues with noise at all. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in Italy, with coffee brought to the table and good range of continental options. The most exciting bit though was complimentary Prosecco with breakfast All in all this was a great little hotel with good staff and a top notch breakfast and superb location.

  Wonderful Family Hotel

  We booked into the Hotel San Marco for 4 nights in June , from the moment we arrived we were made feel very welcome from all the wonderful staff, we had a balcony room overlooking this beautiful bustling little harbour and what a view, the location is fantastic. The bedroom was extremely clean ,comfortable.The bedroom had excellent soundproofing so there were no issues with noise at all.The bathroom was also spotless and the shower was excellent. We sat outside at the tables to eat and drink, the food was excellent quality with a menu that has something for everyone.The San Marco also has several apartments next door which are super if you have family and are into self catering. Our stay at Hotel San Marco was fabulous. The staff are brilliant and we will definitely be back.

  Fabulous hotel

  Excellent hotel in perfect location. Stayed for a week in Room 43 with the roof terrace. Excellent, can't fault it at all. If you can, pay the extra for rooms 42 or 43 to have the benefit of the roof terrace. It's great to have some outside space with stunning views. Hotel staff are exceptional, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is the standard continental buffet, plenty to eat with unlimited tea, coffee and juice. I would 100% recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again in my next visit.

  Great position with good service

  Stayed for five nights and were lucky enough to get room 42 with its big roof terrace and views of lake, mountains and life around the harbour. Just loved the place, very relaxed with superb breakfast and the personal touch from the family owners and waiting staff Johnny and Angelo. Would go back tomorrow!
