Nice hotel and very short walk to the fabulous beach!First, the staff are fabulous at Salus Hotel as well as Hotel Baia del Mar! Krista and her husband own 3 hotels along this beach in Jesolo - also the 'Luxor Hotel' that I did not visit! This beach town is a complete summer resort town with ALL you could ask (ferris wheel and rides for the kids and other options for family fun, lovely piazzas for strolling and shopping, great restaurants - a very fun resort town!) Because it is a resort town, it closes between October and April. Salus was not ready on my arrival 29 April so I was taken to the pretty Hotel Baia del Mar - full access right on the beach, for a couple of nights until Salus was opened on 2 May. Krista, Lorenzo (her father) and the staff at Baia were so friendly and welcoming, I felt I was family! Thank you Luanna, Monika (at Baia) and Salus staff: Therezia, Donata, Esther and Michaela, for a wonderful experience. Both hotels were very nice and Krista has the right touch decorating every corner - using Murano glass wall sconces and flowers - making each hotel unique (reds, pinks in Baia and teals and other blues in Salus) and welcoming! Continental breakfast was good and plentiful restaurants all along the very long main street - and lots of gelato options too! Jesolo is a great place to consider for a nice break between visits to Venice and surrounding areas! A 35 min cab ride from Marco Polo Airport - Jesolo is worth a visit!

By no means a 5 starA small cozy hotel, but falsely advertises itself as 4 star. I have no idea why; the rooms are small and old, bathroom is very basically equipped, with a curtain shower, with fixed shower head built in wall, so you cannot properly use it for a small child. I think the last time it was refurbished as in the 90s. The good part is that is clean, and you do not see signs of physical decay of the hotel, rather the look inside is very rusty. Also, they charge the parking extra, though they list this along side all the other extras they provide for free (like pool and wifi). All in all, I would not recommend. If I knew, I would have paid slightly more to stay in a recently refurbished hotel.

Charming HotelStayed here on start of a coach tour of Italy, nice small hotel in a lively part of town, nice and near to the beach and shops, the room on the small size but we did have a balcony that looked out onto the nice swimming pool.

Coach TourThe Salus was the first stop on our grand tour of italy, 2 night stay. The accommodation was very clean and well situated. Bars and restaurants close by and the beach a couple of minutes walk. The rooms and beds were very small. Wi-fi accessible for some but not for others. Food lukewarm at best and not a very comprehensive breakfast, only hot food was eggs. On the last night very disappointed in the attitude of the lady who collects the money for drinks which you have with your meal. She gave us change for the bottle of wine. Gave us 2 euros and an Australian Dollar. We told her straight away but accused us of lying saying "i know what i gave you". Yes well so did we, this left a bad taste. Hopefully the next hotel will be better. Honest assessment.
