  Bueno limpio tranquilo amables nos gusto habitación amplia las camas cómodas bastante céntrico nos gustó gracias el hotel está a 10 minutos de centro sevilla alrededores tranquilo buen servicio las camas son individuales

  Same Dinner Menu for Two Nights

  I stayed at this hotel for nights in December 2017. The hotel staff were very nice, but the meal was not so excellent. The breakfast was needed to be improved and tended to be more Japanese style. No scrambled egg or omelette provided for the breakfast. All in all, the dinner menus were the same for my two-night stay.

  Delightful stay

  A delightful hotel with many services to enjoy. From a warm foot spring off the lobby to a full body soak elsewhere. We had a delicious and varied full menu from a beginning Aperitif-non-alcoholic to 9 dinner items to end with a dessert. A Hint To end the evening we slept on the futon and added additional futon on top to make the experience softer. One nice thing you cannot fall out of bed. For the mobility challenged you might ask for bed. Staff was helpful and pleasant. A delightful stay and meal overall and would return again.

  Yamashiroonsen experience

  Stayed in Rurikoh for 3 nights. I have to say this hotel is quite popular with tour groups and most of them stay here on their way to see Central Japan. The hotel is a bit dated but still clean. All things are large here to accommodate the big crowds - ie Conference rooms, lounges, hotel lobby and restaurants and even the Public Onsen is large. We stayed here to experience the onsens and were not disappointed. There is one indoor + outdoor Public bath, and one private bath. We didnt try the private one as its chargeable, so we went to the public one only. By staying in Rurikoh, we can even go to the sister hotel, Hatori, to experience their onsen baths there. There are 2 public baths there and many private ones. When we compare the 2 onsen baths, we find that Hatoris is newer but smaller. Rurikohs has its charms and I am sure it used to be the best in the 80s. Rurikoh has the larger bath and when crowded, you dont see much of other bathers. As for the room, it is rather dated. We booked the twin room, western style Type A and it was large for Japan Standards. We didnt take the meals options as there are plenty of Izakayas and restaurants if you drive around. Most restaurants charge less for food and if you dont mind driving around instead of eating in the hotel, you can save quite a fair bit. As for amenities, the hotel is very generous with things like onsen towels, use of Yukatas, water moisturisers, plentiful of toothbrushes and combs. As for the service, staff here are very courteous and they speak English well. One good point with the service is that they will park your car for you and bring it to the front every morning without you even asking. Overall, for the price that we paid and the service and amenities that we got, i would give this a 4star.

  Onsen hotel

  We stayed at Yamashiro amongst all the other onsen town in Kaga because it is quieter and has more eatery at night. When we arrived at Rurikoh with our rental car, the hotel have a few staff welcoming guest in front. They checked the guest list and confirmed our booking and collected our bags efficiently. Checked in was good as the staff spoke good English, pulled out the local map, gave brief intro. and showed us in the room. Weve booked into the western style room with beds instead of Japanese style room with tatami because I find sleeping on beds more comfy. The room is large with a separate entrance and door leading to the bed room. Air conditioning is non-existent and the heater is loud and stuffy. Fortunately, the window can be opened for fresh air. The toilet has a funny old smell so we kept the door closed at all times. The lights in the room are dim so I cant really read a book. Amenities like onsen small towel, tea and kettle are available but no coffee. However, we bought coffee from Family Mart behind the hotel so thats fine. The highlights were their onsen. Theres an outdoor pool and 2 indoor pools. All are clean and large, so that made up for the slightly under expected room. Nearby onsen Hatori allowed guests in Rurikoh to use its onsen. You can walk there or contact the concierge to book a seat in the loop bus. Walking is pleasant during the day with cool breeze, it will take about 10-15mins. At the lobby of Rurikoh, theres a foot bath overlooking Japanese garden. You can use it day or night, theres towel for you to wipe down at the door. The souvenir shop provides huge variety of local produce for sale, I see locals buying sake, condiments, biscuits. When the hotel update its rooms, I will definitely come back because I like the overall experience and property. So thank you to all staff for making my stay so pleasant.
