  Great view, no operable internet in room

  Probably a great place for a vacation stay but for business I need reliable internet, which was lacking. Otherwise, clean and quiet rooms in separate building from bar and restaurant. Great view of the harbor and marina; food was very good and ample (provided, we didn't see the menu). The island itself is beautiful; long and narrow, the countryside looked like landscape paintings. truly rural Denmark.

  Wonderful place!

  A friend and I recently stayed in one of the Hotel Rudkøbing Skudehavn Apartments 2 bedroom units. We loved it and wanted to take the time to write this review. The unit was clean, nicely furnished, beds were wonderfully comfy, kitchen quite adequate, the view off our balcony incredible, hotel staff very helpful, and the restaurant served up delicious food. And the sunsets over the small boat harbor directly below us were simply breathtaking. The town of Rudkobing, and the island of Langeland, are quiet treasures. Lots of good walking in nature, historical sites, wild horses, 4000 year old burial mounds. Highly recommended as a true getaway, although...shuuuush...we would hate to see too many people find out about it, as we hope to visit again :-)

  Nice beds, bad breakfast, disappointing staff.

  The rooms were generally okay, but the toilets were not very clean though. We attended in the event of a wedding, and that's where the big minus comes; the staff were not pleasant, at times really rude, looked like someone who just wanted to go home, and even said that there could'nt be any speeches during the meals. COME ON! This was THE MOST IMPORTANT in two peoples lives. If you cannot recognize that, and actually be a part of the good mood there otherwise was, then please, oh please, find yourself another job. The breakfast was ridiculously boring. 129,- DKK for a boiled egg, cheese and ham? The beds were really comfortable, though.

  OK hostel to sleep in

  Stayed over one night in Rudkøbing. Very near the waterline. Good beds and silent in the night so had a good night's sleep. Didn't stay for the breakfast which was a little too late - and didn't look that promising. Drove for breakfast in Svendborg instead

  Great location but ...

  This was a great location for our stay in rudkobing, the view from the apartment was great. However, the apartment had a strong smell of curry which remained throughout our stay, one of the beds was badly stained, the vacuum was completely blocked and was needed to clean the sofa (which was covered in hair). The furnishings and bathrooms were very dated and the showers were difficult to use. The location was very quiet meaning we slept very well and it was ideal.
